Fun atmosphere in Bury

“This was an amazing find. It was a typically rainy Saturday afternoon in Bury and me, my partner and our baby daughter were seeking refuge and a bite to eat. We were greeted with great hospitality and swift service. The baby was hungry so we ordered her something with the drinks. We had calamari and caprese and from the first bite of calamari I knew we had made a great choice. We then shared the mixed fish platter which was absolutely delicious. Best Italian I have been to in a very long time. This place needs to be frequented!”

“I remember my anxiety levels with the thought of finding a suitable childcare provider to look after my son, soon as I stepped into Tiddlywinks I just knew this was the one!!!! Management were professional and approachable, allowing me to have a truly wonderful ‘look around’ experience. My son and niece both attend and they are flourishing. All the staff work extremely hard to provide OUTSTANDING childcare, catering to each child’s individual needs. The rooms are inviting, child friendly and always clean and fresh. The company itself, provide so many enjoyable experiences, such as trips and celebrations- the children even had a visit from Minnie and Mickey Mouse on their 30th nursery anniversary. The menu is nutritious and caters to all children’s specific dietary requirements. I would 100% recommend Tiddlywinks- I know quite a few of my friend’s children have joined already. “This was my 2nd time using TakeAway Disco, 1st was for my wedding and this time for my 50th. Easy to book and all communication running up to the events was brilliant. Paul was at the venue at the time agreed and set everything up for us, meaning no worries in working out what i needed to do. He arrived at the end of the party to collect the equipment as promised. The deposit was refunded straight away. So all in all a fantastic service. Highly recommended.”

“Was excited to visit Hea as I'd seen it last time I went to Prestwich but had already eaten at the makers market. We finally went on the weekend and it didn't disappoint! It's a small cafe so you might not find a seat quickly as when we went it was busy, but luckily the table in the window was available. There's lots to choose from on the menu such as Hong Kong style sandwiches, toast, and street food, as well as Hong Kong tea, coffee and bubble tea (but there are also normal teas and coffees). We ordered the ham and egg sandwich, satay steak sandwich and pistachio toast. Unfortunately some of the wraps are limited to summer months but we hope to try those next time. The wait was a bit long as it was busy, but it was worth the wait!! All very tasty and reasonably priced, especially if you go for the set menu. I definitely want to come back and try everything else!”

“What an absolute gem of a place!! 4 floors, FILLED with every kind of arcade game you could hope for, so no waiting in lines to get on the one decent game like in most other arcade places. A bar on each floor, making it really easy to get cold or hot drinks and a restaurant on the top floor selling pizzas, burger and hot dogs at half the price high street places charge. We had such a great day here and we didn't realise 8 hours had past. Will definitely be going again”

“I've been sending my children to Mulberry Bush (Dumers Lane) since 2018 and I'd never consider another nursery. The staff are fantastic, so friendly and welcoming, they form such a personal bond with the children. I feel happy and comfortable that they are there for my children whilst im work to give them many experiences (and cuddles!) When my 3rd child came along there was no question that I would also be sending him to Mulberry. They have external agencies come in to teach them languages, see different animals and even visits from the emergency services. They are outstanding in every area especially with safeguarding.”

“This place is five ⭐ stars!! Afternoon event for a Holy Communion! Food, atmosphere and staff all amazing. A sense that they all enjoy their work!! Very clean and probably the best breakfast food I’ve had in years! Perfection!! Value for money also was a 5/5!!!! My son who has autism enjoyed his food and ate it so that’s a big compliment!!! We will be back!!!”

“I attended a 50th birthday in the Cuckoo space. Very intimate and well presented space. We caught the tram to Prestwich and it was only a five minute walk away. Recommended for low key parties”

“Really lovely place with great food! My husband order a burger and I ordered a burrito. Enjoyed the food and the price was reasonable. If there's an improvement maybe it would be nice to have a spiced rice instead of plain rice for the burrito as it watered down the taste but overall, we enjoyed the food. Husband said it was probably the best burger that he had in Manchester! The fries that we had was amazing too! We'd love to be back and try the other stuff in their menu.”

“You can’t beat old school multi roomed Holts pubs if you appreciate your heritage venues. Great service and the Holts Best Bitter is as good as it gets. If you’re passing - call in you won’t be disappointed.”

“We have taken the kids a few times and more recently attended a Peppa Pig party to celebrate my son and daughters 3rd birthday. The place it's self is a little small but has a lot to offer we particularly like it because of the sensory room which offers a clam environment for my son. The twins also enjoyed the interactive room and the main soft play area which is great for young children. The food in the cafe is very nice offers both hot and cold food. Great place, great people and would highly recommend”

“I booked a party for my son's 6th birthday and the staff couldn't do enough for us. Grace was a brilliant host! She explained how the party would run, double checked the food orders and ensured we had everything we needed (including unlimited juice and hoardes of food!). “Highly recommend P2 to anyone looking to get a piercing. Took my daughter for 3 different piercings and the staff were just amazing with her. They talked her through everything and showed her all the different types of jewellery she could use to get pierced, no rush, no pressure. She had 3 different ear piercings and was in and out within minutes. Don't know the man's name who did it but sje said he was amazing and just got on with it quick which really put her at ease. Couldn't of picked a better place and she's already planning her next lot.”

“Had an early evening meal in the grille/ bar area, recently. The food was very good and the two servers who looked after our table were excellent - Daniel and Marcus. Both were extremely polite & friendly and gave us very good service. They deserve a special mention because they were so professional. Thanks for a very nice experience, the staff do add to the mood and these two enhanced the positivity.”
