“Just discovered this pub and so impressed. Great friendly service from Melissa. Food was very tasty and you could tell everything was fresh. Compliments to Astra in the kitchen! Very generous portions too which delighted hubby. We went for lunch and there were tables available without booking. “Went for a breakfast with the grandchildren, was very happy with the food, toast done to perfection, bacon had a chargrilled taste which I loved. The only let down was I like really runny eggs for my toast and beans. But not a dealbraker. The open fire was a bonus along with quite good coffee, being a breakfast coffee, it didn't give you that kick to wake your brain up, more like a brunch coffee.”
