“Fantastic dental surgery. Been at this dentist my whole life and all of the staff I have encountered have been lovely and competent. I have had lots of check ups and various treatments over the years and they have always provided me with high quality care. They especially have been very understanding and supportive of me as a person with a severe needle phobia and have allowed me to have procedures such as fillings without anaesthetic at my request but equally have supported me very well when I have had to have procedures such as tooth extraction where needles have been essential to the treatment, even prescribing me with diazepam prior to the extraction to ease some of the anxiety. The only issue I have ever had is that I do struggle to contact them via telephone as my calls often ring out or go to voicemail. Otherwise a genuinely fantastic dental surgery, can't rate them high enough!”

After discovering i had been removed from the list of my NHS dentist after covid, where I had been a patient since a child (over 30yrs) I began the search for a new dentist and BD was recommended. “Easiest way to put this is life changing. I struggled with my hair as an 18 year old loosing my natural hairline and my corners going back at such a young age. Confidence lost and wearing a cap non stop. Didn’t want a hair transplant so I asked MHR what the best solution was. They greeted me with open arms where every staff member was welcoming and so nice, especially dean where it was like seeing your mate every time you went back. I got the red light treatment which was completely safe to do. I took certain pills with no side effects and now my confidence is at an all time high. I rarely wear a cap, go out without worrying if my hairlines showing and have become so much happier. I would recommend anyone at any age to go down this route.”

“Zohaib Ali I went to see Zo to have a partial denture fitted after losing three loose molars a few years earlier. I had investigated implants during this time, but had reluctantly admitted that I wouldn’t be able to endure the treatment necessary to fit them: I’m squeamish about all medical procedures and have a phobia about needles, so when a sinus lift entered the equation, the possibility of implants went out of the window. But I was struggling to eat- I could only use one side of my jaw to chew and those teeth were taking quite a hammering. When I met Zo, I immediately had confidence in his abilities as a dental surgeon; his confident demeanour and the wide-ranging knowledge he displayed, as well as the empathy he expressed, made me feel that he would make sure I had as positive an experience as possible, regardless of the treatment. However, it became clear that partial dentures would not be an option for me- they would create too much pressure on my remaining teeth. It was going to be implants or nothing and it took quite a few conversations with Zo for me to believe I could go down that road. Several months and an amount of treatment later, I have three new perfectly-fitting back teeth and I can chew away as I always used to. They feel (and look) natural. Zo made the sessions more than bearable- some of them threw up complications, which he dealt with in a calm and expert manner. He is a supremely competent practitioner. And, surprisingly, there was quite an amount of laughter over the months of treatment, something which I never expected, given my aversion to all things medical (especially needles)! I still have to pinch myself that I was ‘brave’ enough to have implants fitted, but the reality is that I found a dental surgeon who could do the job to a supremely high standard whilst reassuring a patient as reluctant and jittery as I am. I would recommend Zo without hesitation. He has made ‘going to the dentist’ a tolerable, if not an almost-enjoyable, experience. With wonderful results. I’m grateful to him every time I eat a meal chewing with my whole jaw, something I didn’t believe I’d be able to do again. Thanks, Zo!”

They explained in detail what was wrong with my tooth and what they suggested was best for me everything including the price was told to me before going ahead with the procedure. A really unassuming place, very humble but this is what restaurants should be - the food should do the talking and the decor shouldn’t distract. I’ll be coming back here soon! “Today I lost a huge filling and was in such pain. I rang up and they got me in straight away because there had been a cancellation. I now have a temporary filling and the pain has subsided...I have an appointment for my real one soon. I can't thank them enough for getting me in. I am a very very nervous patient too, and they are so kind and caring here. Also I'm not an NHS patient (no spaces unfortunately but we all know that's a national issue) and I think the prices are extremely fair especially considering the level of service.”
