“There are not enough words to describe just how AMAZING Mandy is! We are relatively new to Hot Doggy's but every time we have collected our little girl she looks like she's in a beauty pageant! Mandy is so precise with the way she cuts and styles dogs, I haven't seen anything like it before (not to mention how beautiful our girl smells after she's been pampered!). From first meeting Mandy there was just such a positive vibe and you can tell just how much care and love she has for the dogs she grooms. We honestly couldn't ask for anyone better to groom our girl. Mandy is just flawless and such a warm and kind lady. (Seeing little Arthur on our visits too is just the cherry on top! He's gorgeous!) “Our Children (five and eight) are excited about adding to our family and have discussed a hamster.... My husband and I went to Pets at Home Bury to talk to an expert and discuss possible options and in particular what pet would be best for our family. We spoke to a lovely lady on the till who called over her colleague Maddie. Maddie talked us through options, and explained the nature and requirements of Hamsters, also looked to understand more about us as a family, how old the children are, how much activity we do, how much available time we have to properly look after and love a new pet. This was so impressive as clearly she wanted to ensure she advised us enough to help guide our informed decision whilst also having the welfare of the animal at the heart of the decision which is exactly what any ethical and compassionate pet store should do! She was engaging, extremely knowledgeable, clear and just so so lovely to talk to! We actually since talking to Maddie, believe that Guinea Pigs may be a better option for us, particularly because the are nocturnal and our daughter is still young, her bed time would be Hammy's wake up time! We were introduced to the available Guinea Pigs, shown a variety of housing options, Maddie explained the importance of nutrition, play, chew toys and behaviours to watch out for too as the Guineas get older. We are going to reflect in readiness for a joint family decision with Henry and Lils, but for now are just so grateful for the time Maddie spent with us. Finally, the Store Manager Raf was really encouraging about ensuring Maddie was recognised for her efforts - he was keen to encourage this recognition of his team and in my eyes, this is really good leadership! “We can’t recommend Digs for Dogs highly enough! Our dog absolutely loves going on her “holidays” with them and gets so excited to jump into the van when she’s picked up. While we’re away, she’s completely spoilt and treated like a princess, which gives us total peace of mind knowing she’s being cared for and loved just as if she were their own. We also really appreciate the regular updates and photos—it’s lovely to see her enjoying herself while we’re away. Georgia and Oliver are so professional, kind, and welcoming, and they made the whole process of setting up our dog’s profile really easy. “Finally got a chance to write this review I booked my two little boys for hairdo style (a bit of gel) for my two young boys at Studio 8 barbers on the day of a family wedding. We turned up, and they said we had no appointment and had booked the wrong date (I did not, I mentioned the date twice at time of booking). I was freaking out as the wedding was in 1 hour. The barbers did not offer any advice/help, very cold towards us, and we walked out in a panic. Frantically, ran to The HIVE Barbers and we were welcomed with open arms. Did not have an appointment but kindly offered to help and calmed us down straight away. Styled both boys hair with a little gel, all done in less than 5 mins and didn't even charge a penny. Boys looked really smart, and style lasted all day. So so grateful for a kind-hearted, caring local business who actually care for local residents and went out his way, knowing the circumstances around the importance of the day. Did not profit a penny, yet gained a lot of respect and have spread of this kind, wonderful business. This happened summer 2024, sorry for late review.”

“The best kennels around! My staffy has recently had a trial stay here for 2 nights. I used a different kennels in Bury last year and can safely say Shelleys' kennels is 10/10. The staff were so lovely on arrival, came out to the car to greet us and made both myself and my dog feel very welcome. I was shown around the kennels whilst another member of staff took my dog to play and the kennels are very clean and tidy and the facilities are brilliant! I can't recommend Shelley's kennels enough and my dog can't wait to stay again! Thank you :)”
