“After moving to Hale over a year ago now, I had put off trying to find a new hairdresser as finding one you can really trust is hard. So when I discovered The Knot on Instagram, I was comforted by their customer-first philosophy and the emphasis placed on an individual and tailored experience. My actual experience in the salon matched and exceeded my expectations! I was offered a drink on arrival and was given a beautifully presented mint tea with my favourite biscoff biscuits. I was lucky enough to have an appointment with salon owner David who made me feel comfortable right from the start and was so accommodating to my needs. He was so personable and kind, I really enjoyed our conversation, so much so I forgot I was having my hair done! The end result was nothing short of perfect and exactly what I had asked for. I feel so much more confident in myself and I am extremely grateful to David. He is an exceptional stylist and I will absolutely be returning and recommending the salon to others, including my mum who has just moved here and is looking for a new trusted hairdresser! “I am over the moon with my Great Lengths Keratin Bond Extensions that were fitted by the very talented Salon Manager Kirsty. I felt instantly welcomed by the friendly salon staff and Salon Owner Caroline, who offered and brought me a glass of prosecco - which is a lovely added touch. The salon is modern, clean and upbeat. The service from start to finish was second to non and I left a very happy customer, excited about my new long, thick, shiny hair! Thank you to House of Finesse! “The best gel manicure in Manchester! Even though I don’t live locally anymore, I still travel here when I want my nails doing. And my mum does the same who travels from Birmingham! The staff are so friendly and always remember who we are. The owner even remembered when I was getting married and sent me a bottle of champagne to say congratulations! “Best hairdresser in Manchester. I have been having my hair cut and coloured with Sands (Meg) for over 4 years and it’s always exactly what I want and better! Before Sands I went to lots of other salons but they never listened to what I wanted or could get the colour right. I now live in the city centre and travel out to Alty just to go to Meg because she’s just excellent. The whole experience is more than just a haircut, it’s feels like a catch up between friends and my stomach hurts from laughing every time I leave. Highly, highly, highly recommend.”
