“Highly recommended to anyone needing dental work done, the team here go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and take pride in the standards of their work. After my false crown finally gave up after a decade, cracking the tooth root in the process, I needed to understand my options and what choice was right for me. From the very first consultation Phil and the staff were excellent, explaining to me all options, possible risks, what to expect and how the process would work. They showed me the scans so I could see for myself what was had happened and what could be done. I chose to go for a dental implant which, given we are hopeful it will last decades for me, is actually a responsible investment to restore my smile. Although quite unsettling for me, both to actually lose a tooth and also to face an unknown surgery involving worrying phrases such as 'drill into the bone' and 'reshape the gums' Phil has seen this kind of problem many times before and his confidence in being able to make it right counts for a lot. I left the building with a timetable of my treatment and the price quoted was the one I paid, it never changed. After a few weeks of treatment I have now had the old root extracted and implant placed in one session, and recently had the permanent crown fitted after allowing a few weeks for healing. It was all done with care and consideration and I am so pleased with the result. The only time I was a little sore during the process was after the extraction, which is to be expected, but I was handed a bag of aftercare products and followed up on by the staff the day after. A week or so later I was fine. I felt nothing as the implant was set into my jawbone, and only a pinch when the permanent crown was set into the gum. Should you need dental work doing then do consider these guys, they know what they are doing and take a personal satisfaction in doing the job well.”

“I visited Moston Dental Surgery in August, as I required an emergency appointment for a root canal. My local dentists in South Manc were unable to accommodate an emergency appointment. I spoke with the receptionist at Moston Dental Surgery and explained that the pain was absolute torture, and she kindly booked an appoitment for 11.30am on the day. I was greeted by the principle dentist Dr Muhammed AbdulHussain who assured me that he would alleviate the pain with a temporary procedure. He was friendly, personable and affable. The matter was soon resolved. I was pleasantly surprised that the cost was extremely reasonable, in comparison to the prices in Didsbury. The key factor was that there was no compromise on the quality of service or procedure. As a matter of fact it was of a very high standard and I would highly recommend that you consider this practice going forward. I have since visited on a few occasions to have a dental hygiene and a couple of fillings. I am currently undergoing a full root canal procedure. I have therefore scored Moston Dental Surgery a well deserved 10/10”

“I was in really bad pain with my wisdom tooth and needed a complicated extraction. Other oral surgeons deemed me at high risk as it was close to my nerve in my jaw. Dr. Jussab was able to attend to me in short notice and took it out easily. Didn’t damage the nerve and I now feel a lot better thanks to him! Would highly recommend!”

“Zohaib Ali I went to see Zo to have a partial denture fitted after losing three loose molars a few years earlier. I had investigated implants during this time, but had reluctantly admitted that I wouldn’t be able to endure the treatment necessary to fit them: I’m squeamish about all medical procedures and have a phobia about needles, so when a sinus lift entered the equation, the possibility of implants went out of the window. But I was struggling to eat- I could only use one side of my jaw to chew and those teeth were taking quite a hammering. When I met Zo, I immediately had confidence in his abilities as a dental surgeon; his confident demeanour and the wide-ranging knowledge he displayed, as well as the empathy he expressed, made me feel that he would make sure I had as positive an experience as possible, regardless of the treatment. However, it became clear that partial dentures would not be an option for me- they would create too much pressure on my remaining teeth. It was going to be implants or nothing and it took quite a few conversations with Zo for me to believe I could go down that road. Several months and an amount of treatment later, I have three new perfectly-fitting back teeth and I can chew away as I always used to. They feel (and look) natural. Zo made the sessions more than bearable- some of them threw up complications, which he dealt with in a calm and expert manner. He is a supremely competent practitioner. And, surprisingly, there was quite an amount of laughter over the months of treatment, something which I never expected, given my aversion to all things medical (especially needles)! I still have to pinch myself that I was ‘brave’ enough to have implants fitted, but the reality is that I found a dental surgeon who could do the job to a supremely high standard whilst reassuring a patient as reluctant and jittery as I am. I would recommend Zo without hesitation. He has made ‘going to the dentist’ a tolerable, if not an almost-enjoyable, experience. With wonderful results. I’m grateful to him every time I eat a meal chewing with my whole jaw, something I didn’t believe I’d be able to do again. Thanks, Zo!”
