“My two children absolutely love First steps, they have been there since they were 8 months and 2 attending a couple of days and now 2 and 4 attending full time Monday to Friday. Every room they’ve been in and moved up into has been brillliant. They have lots of outside time and lots of structured activities as well as free play too, they come home with so many things they’ve made that they’re so proud of! Too many to name but all staff have been amazing, I’ve seen mostly the same faces the whole time as turnover is so low and my children have adored everybody, they’ve made me feel so comfortable and confident leaving them knowing they’re so well looked after, there’s a real family feel. Ian, Luke and Tina have been brilliant, so organised in their management of everything and so helpful with flexibility where I’ve needed. So glad my kids have spent their first years here!”

“My daughter has been going to Space Station since she was 14 months old. She has been very happy in all the rooms from babies through to Waddlers and Toddlers. She loves playing and dancing with her little friends and the staff make a really big effort with lots of great activities and themed weeks. Kim - the manager - is always very responsive, helpful and accommodating and was from our very first visit to look around. My daughter used reusable nappies and staff were happy to accommodate these too. I would definitely recommend Space Station!”

All the staff accommodated her individual needs, constantly checked in with me about her development, I received regular updates about her week, she loved the food provided and most importantly they provided a safe environment for her throughout the time she was there. From Becky, the manager, to each and every one of my son's key workers throughout the three years he has been there (Kirsty, Nicola, Emy, Alicia, Lizzie, Amy, Elena), I have always felt he is in the safest hands. Every member of staff is just the loveliest - they put tonnes of effort into the activities they plan, and parents are kept up to date with progress and pictures. Nothing is ever too much, even when I call up in the middle of the day because "he just seemed a bit sad this morning and I wanted to check whether he's cheered up and now having a good day!". They don't just give it lip service, they keep me on the line as they go to check on him, and will pass me on to his key worker if a bigger update is needed. Any time he's had a bump or fall (he's a kid, it's going to happen!), it's been recorded, and I've had a detailed account of exactly how it came about - which ALWAYS matches up to my son's description of the event, too. I really do love all the staff here, they provide a really personal touch which makes the world of difference. And to have your kid come home and say their key worker is their BEST FRIEND is the most heartwarming thing ever. He feels safe, and so do I.”

“An amazing team of dedicated childminders. Jade, Gem, and Janet are an absolute joy to be around and work with and they really know how to connect with children and make them feel comfortable. Our little one loves them and loves going to the nursery, and there are always fun new activities to do and learn from. Lots of new friends have been made and it has become like a second home. We are kept updated throughout the day with a daily diary and photos on our own personal group chat. We would not hesitate to recommend the nursery to anyone looking for dedicated childminders. “My twins have loved their time at Mini Miners nursery. It didn't take them long to settle in as all the staff are lovely. The staff are great with communication, keeping parents updated in the WhatsApp group, sharing pictures of the multiple activities which the children have been up to. I'll be sad to see my twins leave this week and I'm sure my twins will miss it too, as they've always looked forward to attending each day and always come home telling me all the lovely things they've been up to with their friends.
