“After finding Cultural Care Au Pair at an employment gap year fair at my college I have had nothing but positive interactions with them. The staff at Cultural Care were very supportive and helpful during the application and matching process and after I had found my host family they ensured I was well prepared and knew what was happening, and would happen, at every stage of my journey. I loved my 2 years in the U.S.A. and still keep in contact with my host family, friends from the U.S., friends from around the World and even the Cultural Care staff. I can honestly recommend even just speaking to Cultural Care if you think you want to live in the States, make family there, make friends there, meet friends from many Worldwide cultures and feel supported the entire time. “My name is Ahlam, I am 19 years old, and my student number is 1485206. I’m really proud to be in my second year at The Manchester College, Shena Simon Campus. I’m really enjoying my time here.The teachers and staff are so supportive and helpful. I’ve learned a lot and feel more confident every day. It’s a great place to study! Last year, I completed the ESOL (16-18) Entry 3 course with the teacher Mark Gourlay , which helped me build my English skills and confidence. This year, I’m studying Functional Skills English and Maths with the adult group, and I’m really enjoying it. The teachers here are fantastic — my Maths teacher, Maryama Gholami, and my English teacher, Nuzhat Siddique, and my IT Teacher Asif Saleh are all very supportive, kind, and always explain everything clearly. They always take the time to help every student and make sure we all understand the lesson. The staff are else very helpful and friendly. Whenever I need help or have a question, there is always someone there to support me. The college offers so many great facilities, and the learning environment is very comfortable and welcoming. I’ve learned so much since I joined, not just in English and Maths, but also about communication, teamwork, and confidence. I feel really happy and safe here, and I enjoy coming to college every day. The Manchester College has given me a great experience, and I’m very thankful to be part of it. I would definitely recommend this college to anyone who wants to improve their skills and achieve their goals.”
