“The Gallery Café at Manchester Art Gallery offers a relaxed and welcoming environment to enjoy seasonal British dishes made from locally sourced ingredients. The menu includes hearty mains, fresh salads, and a variety of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Desserts are made in-house, featuring cakes like pistachio and lime or banana loaf with cream cheese frosting. The café also serves a range of coffees, specialty teas, and wines. Located in the city centre, it’s a great spot to rest and refuel while exploring the gallery or nearby attractions.”
“Food was absolutely delicious. We had the banana french toast and the salami and prosciutto ciabatta. The best we’ve had. Good portion sizes and great value for money.”
“Absolutely lovely, the park is so pretty and the staff here are super stars! I’d recommend feeding the ducks at the pond just up the hill to, and afterwards try the chicken curry, it’s life changing.”
“The Burger was pretty good, service was fast. And the Doughnuts are amazing. All in all worth the money.”
“It's a wonderful family run cafe. They always have a chat and ask how people are. They still get on with their work and the food is absolutely gorgeous.”
“Good food friendly people would recommend”
“Great hot food! The pastries were great. They were freshly baked and tasty. The price was reasonable. The staffs were nice. Toilets were clean.”
“A very pleasant coffee shop just outside Manchester Victoria railway station. Part of Hotel Indigo. Surprisingly large with a choice of comfortable rooms and seats. Cakes and breakfast butties available. Newspapers free to read. Taking Alic on a rare outing. Boothroyd chose him for this trip. There ia also a bar that I've never been to! Americano £3. Lovely staff.”
“it is in a mall, but it's cool because you can people watch easily. and the music is bumpin. the food slaps. I ate my panini so fast I forgot to take a photo. the counter lady was nice and friendly. it was a yummy sandwich. edit: I ran back for a photo of the bar”

“Good food and very nice staff. If you have time in the Heaton Park, you should come and visit this cafe!”
“I booked a dome for afternoon tea for partners birthday. Food was delicious. I had the vegan option which was really well thought out rather than just dupes of the classic. We were served by Angel who was very polite, professional and helpful. Angel went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed and extra as its been such a hot day. Angel made sure the children were kept hydrated. Thank you Angel”
“Cannot understand the poor reviews. Had many meals from here and always been fine. Best selection of vegan or vegetarian Chinese dishes in the whole of Eccles and Salford. Have an easy to use website and deliver. Prefer this compared to using Uber, just eat, etc.”
“Great Brunch place! Had a brioche with avocado, scrambled egg and spicy mayo. Was very delicious and portions were big! Service was also very friendly.”
“What can I say! I’ve been coming daily to Kickback for my morning coffee for over three years. The coffee is excellent, that’s a given. It’s meeting Saskia, Harvey, Toby and Chris that makes me want to go daily. They make a great team - everyone is made to feel welcome and special. They work incredibly hard and are a credit to the wider Kickback team. If I could give 6 stars I would!”
“Booked late on Friday night for early Sat morning for a kids haircut, really easy to book online, Aaron was great with my son and checked multiple times we were happy with the cut & length. Great haircut & service.”
“Had a weekend away in the Peak District and was visiting nearby towns. Came across this lovely little cafe in a small town not to far from where we were staying (Whaley bridge). We ordered the egg and avacado toast which was yummy!! The hot chocolate was really rich and just perfect. What attracted me to this cafe was the mostly vegetarian menu. The cafe was also a walking distance from Millennium walkway is another great place to visit!”
“I had such a lovely breakfast experience here. I pre ordered and booked the day before for a late morning vegetarian breakfast. The owner was very quick to respond to my social media messages and happily made adjustments to my order. Food was delicious and service was very quick. Condiments were offered and a toilet is available inside. Seating available outside during good weather. Takeaway orders are taken. The boat was warm, cosy and full of character. The owner was really friendly and asked us questions about ourselves and built up a good rapport. Will definitely return”
“Recently moved into the area and always pop in before my morning train to work. Amazing coffee & the guys are very friendly. Would highly recommend.”
“Great food whether you want home baking, an Italian special or just a bacon sandwich. Thoroughly recommend the cappuccino with a double shot of espresso (think big flat white). Lovely atmosphere and dog friendly too. Can't recommend too highly.”
“Katie did a fantastic job with our end-of-tenancy clean. The tenant had left the property in an absolutely horrendous state, but Katie quickly took care of everything. Her communication was amazing from start to finish, and she was incredibly friendly and professional. She arranged for rubbish and furniture to be removed and disposed of, followed by a deep clean—all at short notice. The transformation was incredible—the place was a million times better afterwards! I will be recommending Katie and Maids of Cheshire to all my friends and family.”
“Loved it! food great, hot and tasty. Good quality sausage. Service was good. Nice pot of tea. Will be going back. Blue light discount.”
“Since my review below, management have reached out to me and have confirmed their cutlery and crockery is recyclable hence I will add another star to my review. Many thanks for response. Very interesting place for breakfast or lunch in Cheadle. This cafe is definitely a positive addition to the Cheadle community - making it feel more like some of the cafes in Didsbury. It is very clean and had a nice friendly atmosphere. The manegment adhere to the Jewish community, hence this cafe is closed on a Saturday. You will find lots of nice things on the menu and everything is well presented and clean as stated above. The reason I can't give this more than the 4 stars, is based on the disposable plates, knifes and forks and coffee / tea cups. I imagine on a good day this Cafe must go through a lot of disposable waste. Not sure if any of this is recyclable (but I have no proof) so effectively this cafe could contribute to world pollution (perhaps comments from management will put me right on this issue). It would be good to have notices saying the cutlery , crockery is all recyclable as this would get another star from me. And lastly but not leastly there is only one Vegan option on the menu. As we all know Veganism is on the rise and it is always good to have more Vegan options on the menu. On the other hand for the Jewish community it isn't an essential - but for the public it might be. In conclusion I would recommend this place as it gives a fresh look to the Cheadle community and it is clean. Worth a visit if you are in Cheadle.”
“A serious specialty coffee shop—just how I like it. They serve premium beans for both filter and espresso, and the staff is exceptionally kind and knowledgeable”
