“Visited again last week. I absolutely love this place. Hidden gem. Great place to bring teenagers who prefer quiet, young adults who may be anxious and not enjoy the crowds. Can walk around as many times as like and discover all animals. Gorgeous pigs, donkeys, goats and chickens enjoying themselves. There are ping pong tables for a quick out side game, children's play equipment. A river to walk along. A cafe to sit have a snack and drink. Squirrels running up and down the trees. Some animals look like they are rescue animals and are obviously being taken care of by the farm.”

“Great venue for any celebration or even a nice pint on a sunny day. Whole place was spotlessly clean each time I've visited. Staff couldn't do enough for us on the night of the event and were so nice to everyone. I will definitely hire again, the setting is lovely as it is right next to the canal running through Marple. Plenty of parking space too”

“Tonight was our first ever vist to Purple Pakora Marple. I have to say the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, the food was excellent, infact I would say it is the best Biryani I have ever had, my husbands Rogan Josh was also very tasty. Definitely will be back.”

“Just received a delivery from Dewson Marple - the driver was so professional and helpful. He skilfully manoeuvred the blocks/large bulk bags of sand & limestone under telephone cables and over the garden wall on a busy road - placing everything strategically to maintain access to our driveway. Throughout, he was stood in the rain...yet returned to the house with our invoice still cheerful and polite. Excellent work ethic and first class service. Thank you so much!”

“I have been using Church Lane Garage for approximately 4-5 Years. I would never dream about going anywhere else. Ali is extremely reliable, trustworthy, hardworking, and gets a job done in no time. For example on a Saturday morning (without notice) I dropped my car off at 9am which needed a new exhaust, he had managed to order and fit by 2pm that very same day! Talk about Service! “I discovered Barkley and Fetch in a pet shop in Bakewell, I love the patterns and designs of their products. Since then I have been buying collars on line not only for me but our son’s dogs too. We love them. They wash and wear really well and the quality is excellent. We love the colourful designs and the more neutral ones too. I can recommend Barkley and Fetch and currently have my eye on a doggie bag for walks.”

I first came into Little Betty's looking for a dress for a wedding for my daughter - we were so surprised with the amount of beautiful dresses - loads more choice than any other high street shop we'd tried- we couldn't decide on just one so ended up buying three. “Fantastic Bar with amazing people running it, and such a friendly crowd inside all round great atmosphere. Superb drink choice, with beers (north/ South my favourite) and cocktails a plenty (Gin Bramble my wifes favourite). They really go all out to look after you and your dogs too. My pug loves going, I have a pint she has some biscuits!”

“Fantastic selection of wines, whiskey, gin, Vodka and craft beers. With the added bonus of a selection of cigars and chocolates. So far my favourite wine has been a Pinot Noir from Romania. Staff also know about what they're selling, definitely my favourite place for alcohols.”
