“My name is Ahlam, I am 19 years old, and my student number is 1485206. I’m really proud to be in my second year at The Manchester College, Shena Simon Campus. I’m really enjoying my time here.The teachers and staff are so supportive and helpful. I’ve learned a lot and feel more confident every day. It’s a great place to study! Last year, I completed the ESOL (16-18) Entry 3 course with the teacher Mark Gourlay , which helped me build my English skills and confidence. This year, I’m studying Functional Skills English and Maths with the adult group, and I’m really enjoying it. The teachers here are fantastic — my Maths teacher, Maryama Gholami, and my English teacher, Nuzhat Siddique, and my IT Teacher Asif Saleh are all very supportive, kind, and always explain everything clearly. They always take the time to help every student and make sure we all understand the lesson. The staff are else very helpful and friendly. Whenever I need help or have a question, there is always someone there to support me. The college offers so many great facilities, and the learning environment is very comfortable and welcoming. I’ve learned so much since I joined, not just in English and Maths, but also about communication, teamwork, and confidence. I feel really happy and safe here, and I enjoy coming to college every day. The Manchester College has given me a great experience, and I’m very thankful to be part of it. I would definitely recommend this college to anyone who wants to improve their skills and achieve their goals.”

“I been here 3 times and I don't understand the bad reviews. The guy that works there it's doing his job, he is respectful and polite, the computers aren't last generation nor the most expensive but they work perfectly fine. If you come here to pass the exam shouldn't be a big problem the vigilator nor the outdated computers, we are here to test or knowledge and if you know you know, and will pass regardless”

“17th March 2025. Had a desperate need to use the facilities at Woodhouse Park Lifestyle Centre at Wythenshawe. Had a very warm welcome, from Michaela, Danielle and Sally. They explained to me about the centre and the services they offer and I was quite impressed. I could see they were working there hoping to make a difference, and I could see it was working. “It's a quiet, good house, worth living in. The team members are all very professional and friendly, especially Claudia and Mario. The five-star rating is all because of them; the housing experience would otherwise deserve at most four stars. Objectively speaking, those one-star reviews are a bit exaggerated. The house is indeed a bit far from the school and the city center, and there are few shops around. However, there is a bus stop with the 50 route right at the doorstep, so it's not particularly inconvenient. Regarding the WiFi, it's true that it's very slow for gaming, but it's fine for attending classes and watching videos. Throughout my communication with Claudia and Mario, they also helped me clear up many misunderstandings. Overall, the feeling was quite positive. In short, I would give Claudia and Mario a five-star rating.”
