“We absolutely love Grosvenor Nursery! As parents from Hong Kong raising our son here in the UK, it means a lot to find a place where he is not only safe, but truly cared for. The teachers here are warm, patient, and genuinely care about each child’s well-being. One lovely surprise was when they gave my son a bilingual book in Cantonese and English — such a thoughtful gift that really touched our hearts. It shows how inclusive and considerate the staff are, making sure every child feels seen and supported. If you’re looking for a nursery where your child will be cared for like family, this is the place. Highly recommended to all parents!”

    Broad Oaks Nursery

    ★★★★★ 5
    Closed

“As a parent of a child who attended this nursery for two years. I cannot praise and thank the staff enough. My childs progress has been phenomenal. He even knows some sign language and is barely 3 years old. We only had to move him due to work commitments, however the staff did try to make some accommodations for us to allow him to remain, unfortunately this wasn't possible for us. Every review should be 5*, however it wouldn't do the work you do justice. Keep it up Broad Oaks.”

    Ducklings Blackley

    ★★★★★ 5

“Great setting with truly caring, kind and professional staff. My 3 year old has been attending since 2022 and has learned many skills and developed into a cheeky, happy preschooler during this time. I like that parents are updated via an app and private Facebook group and that children make greeting cards for most holidays and celebrations. Children are also taken for little adventures around the neighborhood. I really appreciate and respect the fact that children and their families are encouraged to celebrate and represent their culture and that there is a non-judgemental and friendly attitude towards all parents. Having had bad experiences in my area with other settings, I feel especially grateful for finding Ducklings. They have handled delicate situations with grace, patience and understanding. I am proud to call Ducklings staff my child's second family.”

    Oasis Academy Temple

    ★★★★☆ 4
    Closed

“Oasis Academy Temple converted to academy status in July 2018. As a large school, of approximately 700 pupils, our halls are rich with cultural diversity. In fact our children come from 23 different countries and between us all we can boast an impressive 27 different languages. Our motto and vision therefore feed into making sure that our family here at Oasis Academy Temple can live happily together and benefit from inclusive and supportive learning. Being part of the Oasis family of academies, the overarching vision of our Academy is to provide 'Exceptional Education at the Heart of the Community'. We want to ensure that all of our young people, whatever their starting points or background, get the education they deserve - and they deserve nothing less than exceptional. At Oasis Community Learning, and across each of our academies, we know that our pupils are always learning, both inside the classroom and at home, and that families play an essential part in supporting the educational journey. We also understand the importance of having a dynamic, engaging and outstanding curriculum, taught by our subject experts in the best possible way. Oasis Horizons is a scheme being introduced into every Oasis academy throughout the academic year 2020-2021, where each current and future pupil, and their teachers and support staff, will be provided with an iPad to give them access to enhanced online learning. Students and teachers will be able to use the device together in lessons to bring subjects to life and participate in shared learning. Students will even be able to continue this at home! Oasis Horizons is the third part of a wider strategy; the other two elements being the development of an outstanding Oasis curriculum and investing in our pedagogy; making sure that we are sharing the latest and best teaching methods with our staff. The technology provided puts exceptional teaching and learning into the hands of every Oasis student at school, and at home no matter where they are in the country. With Oasis Horizons, our young people will have the opportunity to develop a firm foundation towards further education, or aspirational, fulfilling and prosperous careers. The Oasis model of governance is designed to ensure strong accountability and therefore great educational standards. Statutory governance responsibilities are held by the OCL Board, who ultimately govern each academy. These responsibilities are delegated to the OCL CEO, National Director of Academies and Regional Directors and then to Principals; taking responsibility for overall performance, financial viability, legal compliance and statutory duties.”

    First Steps Orrishmere Pre-School

    ★★★★★ 5
    Open

“My daughter is just about to finish after two years at First Steps and her older sister attended 5 years ago. I cannot recommend this wonderful pre school enough. The staff to child ratio is excellent and the children thrive on the smaller group sizes and 1:1 time they get to spend with their key workers. The outdoor space is fantastic, and utilised daily for different activities. Weekly visits from Footy Tots and Diddi Dance also give the children those extra opportunities to try something different in an environment they feel safe and secure in. Helen and her team have years of experience in pre school learning and wellbeing and this shines through in everything they do for the children!”
