“Poynton tea rooms catering did a lovely buffet for my mum’s wake. Everything was taken care of with a fantastic variety of menus to choose from. Everything was well appreciated particularly the chicken skewers, chocolate cake and scones with cream and jam. The vegetarian platters were very well received and appreciated. Thank you Helen and Graeme for all your hard work.”

“I have been going to this restaurant for years now on and off. Family run business and they are so helpful with allergies and cater as much as possible for the customer. Really tasty food and it's never disappointed. Really good portions and really friendly staff. I've always ordered takeout because the bookings for the restaurant is always full and it's full for a reason but takeaway has been above and beyond. If I ever fancy Thai food it's always been Baan Pad Thai as they have always come through with top authentic food.”

“Popped in here after a walk with the dog in bramhall park, we sat outside with the dog and they invited us to sit inside. Very friendly and the food was delicious. Vinnie the dog enjoyed a couple of sausages as well, will definitely be back again”

“After a recommendation I had my nails done on Friday for the first time ever! Wasn’t sure what I wanted or what was on offer! The salon is brilliant, great team, great advice, great atmosphere! The customers coming and going were well known by the staff and the banter was lovely. My nails by Leigh are amazing and I’m so pleased I took up the recommendation! “Happy Valley is a lovely area just outside Bramall Park but following the same river (The Ladybrook though it does change its name a few times). Enter from Valley Road or Headlands Road and quite a few other places. Roadside parking unless you enter from the lay-by on Jacksons Lane. The Valley itself is a peaceful walk through ancient woodland and fields. Unspoilt but the path is partially paved so wheelchair friendly from Valley Road and upon reaching the bridge you cross it for further paved surface. Or don't cross the bridge and walk up the other side of the river which has plenty of benches but can get a bit boggy after sustained rain. This is my dogs favourite place and I'd guess many other dogs favourite places as they get so excited jumping into the river. All off lead walking btw. If you're not a dog walker it still holds the same beauty with plenty of room for everyone.”
