“The most beautiful restaurant. Sat outside on a lovely sunny day. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. I very rarely change where I eat an Italian as not many places do it perfectly but piccolo was recommended by the friend I visited with and it did not disappoint. Arancini was a delicious starter and I had the carbonara which was delicious. My friend had the lasagna which was very rich in flavour and delicious. Will definitely go again”

“Just visited for the second time today after a brilliant experience and food the first time. We walked in as advised as they were fully booked and managed to get a table. The food was delicious and they were great dealing with our fussy 4 year olds requests. We had the carbonara and a pizza and thoroughly enjoyed both. The decor is fab too and all the staff were fun and welcoming. We'll be back again!”

“HIGHLY RECCOMEND . Been told about this place by a friend as he knows I love burgers, I promise you I was not disappointed at all . Everything I tried was bang on , tried halloumi burger , cheese burger, peri chicken and nashville n Kurkure chicken burger along with spicy fries and hot n spicy wings . Everything was cooked to perfection and cheese burgers were amazing . Go and definitely try the burgers.”

“Excellent, family-run Italian restaurant that has been open in Urmston for decades. The restaurant is spacious with a quirky décor and delicious food. We were there on a very busy night (Christmas Eve), but we were served by friendly and efficient staff. To start, we had garlic bread and cheese, followed by salmon in a cream and tomato sauce and chicken in a Diane sauce. Both were excellent: the salmon was cooked perfectly, with a light and tasty sauce, and the chicken was moist and flavoursome. I have been coming here for years, and it is always a great experience.”

“We enjoyed a lovely Saturday evening at Rosa tonight. The food was lovely and tasty, however slightly slow being served but we were given some free olives to tide us by. We want to particularly point out the excellent service from all of the staff, especially from the main waiter (with the tattoos sorry didnt get his name). Very catering for children- they made particular effort to bring her food out first. We would definitely recommend and will return again”

“I attended a little bambino pizza making event in the summer holidays with my son and was impressed with the friendliness and hospitality of all the staff. My son had a great time kneading the dough and preparing his own pizza. He was very proud of the finished pizza. It was a wonderful afternoon and amazing value for money. “A truly wonderful place for an authentic Italian meal and fabulous atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is cosy and welcoming. Although there are a few Domus Italia or Casa Italia restaurants in Manchester the Didsbury one does not feel like it part of a chain of faceless restaurants. It has a family run vibe and individual atmosphere. It's not a big place but that makes it so much nicer.”

The service from Shimi was just lovely, she really took care of us and was also there to make sure we enjoyed every bit of it. We booked for 2 and the table and chair was not spacious but the manager was so thoughtful to change our seats when we requested. That's lovely and beautiful. We shall come back again.”

Then came the showstopper: the special pizza with vodka base sauce, pepperoni, chilli threads, and burrata. Every bite was unreal, and the spicy honey drizzle took it to another level – a must-try! Treated myself to a bottle of Montepulciano at £38. Not the cheapest, but totally worth it – smooth, rich, and the perfect pairing for the food. The pizza was £16 and the special starter £11 – both great value for the quality. I honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough. The staff were lovely, the food was unforgettable, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you guys!”
