“The Royal is an hidden gem the food is outstanding all home cooked, and excellent value for money. The menu caters for all, the Sunday lunches are amazing all freshly prepared and if you don’t have room for your dessert you can take it home. The homemade pies a choice of Cheese or Meat are freshly made by Alison are a worth a try they are delicious. It is well worth a visit and the prices are extremely reasonable. “I stayed here for 6months plus and the owners where lovely always helping out, rooms cleaned every 3 days, was nice atmosphere used to play pool owners would keep pub open for us finishing work at 1 and get a few games of pool highly recommend joan and alan where the best i have stayed at in a long time thank you”
