“I’ve been coming to The Hare and Hounds in Middleton week after week, and I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad experience here. From the classic Sunday roast to the rotating chef’s specials, the food is consistently 10/10 — it’s far beyond what you’d expect from pub food and easily rivals high-end restaurants. Every dish is beautifully presented, full of flavour, and perfectly cooked. Portion sizes are generous, and the prices are almost unbelievable given the quality you get. Drinks are also great value, with top brands served at very reasonable prices. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help, no matter how busy it gets. They always do their best to accommodate everyone including dietary needs, and make you feel right at home. Whether you’re after a comforting roast, a special night out, or just a few drinks in a warm atmosphere, this place delivers every time. Highly recommended — easily one of the best pubs in the area!”

Everyone I work with recommends this cafe for the welcoming service and homely feel. & I can tell why. “The food is made to order with fresh ingredients, the food is presented nicely and there is more than enough for 2 per course per person, the lady who took our order and served us was really nice and explained the dishes we was looking at and advised us on a few things as well, she took the time to have a chat with us inbetween courses, over all the food was excellent and we had food to take home with us too for later. There was only us in there so we had a good 2 hours to enjoy each course and enjoy our own company, we would definitely recommend to all our family and friends and we will be using this for our takeaway food as well as going back to eat in.”

“Having used these frequently since they joined Just Eat, we used them for a family boxing day meal. Called ahead so as to be able to collect the meal, was just over £116.00. Nothing was forgotten, it was an excellent and easy transition. Got it home, everyone really liked it. Thank you guys.”

“Wonderful soundproofing for a city location. Didn't hear traffic, banging doors or anything during the night. Very comfy bed, powerful shower, clean and useful facilities. Also lovely friendly lady on reception. Late checkout brilliant too. The beefeater attached to it is great as well. We arrived very tired from long journey and took advantage of the special offer for dinner and breakfast. Food was delicious, portions good and Holly our waitress was brilliant.”

“From start to finish it was a lovely experience. The phone call was a breeze order fully taken and read back to make sure everything was on. It’s cash only and so it should be as cash is king. The interior is amazing all open plan you can see all of the kitchen and quite rightly has earned a 5 star food hygiene rating. The food all packed in re usable plastic boxes which come in real handy. The food quality and quantity was absolutely superb it was quite poss the best Chinese food I’ve tasted so overall 10/10 we all loved it oh and I got a complimentary bottle of Pepsi which went down a treat with my lads. Friendly staff is also a massive plus point.”
