“Fantastic restaurant serving freshly cooked Palestinian food of a high standard and with lovely warm service that is attentive and efficient. We’ve eaten at many Middle Eastern restaurants and this is one the best we’ve been to. The Knafeh is excellent and ends a wonderful meal. We also loved the freshly squeezed orange juice and strawberry, mango and pineapple smoothie! If only they had Palestinian ice cream!”

From the moment we were seated, he was warm, welcoming, and attentive in the most genuine way. We both ordered the Chicken Dum Biryani, and when Nadeem brought the dishes over, he took the time to carefully cut into the dums for us. The moment he lifted the lid, the aroma was incredible—and the biryani inside was beautifully cooked. Perfectly tender chicken, fragrant rice, and so full of flavour. His presentation made the experience feel even more special. Nadeem’s professionalism, kindness, and pride in the food truly elevated our first visit. “We had a delicious lunch here. Their gyros are probably one of the best in town. The owner is friendly and happy to talk about what they serve. They use quality ingredients and you can easily tell their food tastes delicious and authentic. They have a fantastic meal deal where you can get a gyro, a drink and a cake for around a tenner. The place is nice, quiet and with some beautiful Greek decorations on the wall.”

Always beautifully prepared, stone fire cooked pizzas and they have a twist on the dough balls to what looks like a square pizza and then you take a closer look and its Nutella and biscoff wrapped in dough and cooked throughout. Absolutely gorgeous. Such lovely staff.”

“If there was an option for 6 stars, this pub would get it. Came here after a walk in the area and walked in to friendly staff and a warm fire. It was a weekday so not so busy we got a table straight away. You think it can't get better. It does. The pie was amazing, mash was amazing and gravy was amazing too. Such lovely food we had to get dessert and that was, as predicted, amazing. Can't wait to come back here again and try the other food on the menu, really exceptionally good pub to come.”
