The clinic is welcoming, clean and decorated beautifully with teddy's and pictures.We felt so comfortable and left very happy with a scan picture of our little one to go away with. I’d had a bad experience in the past so was quite reluctant to try again but after reading reviews and speaking with Dawn on the phone I decided to give it a go again. I’m really glad I did as I’m feeling a lot better and can see I’m making progress. Dawn is very easy to talk to/open up to and is friendly and professional. I would recommend her to anyone who feels in need of counselling.”

“I work at Willowhurst, the Preston service and I absolutely love my job. It can be challenging, we’re working with the most complex young people in the country, but seeing their progress and the difference placement makes to them is so rewarding. The team at Willow are a great bunch of people, so supportive and always up for a laugh too! The model of care is something you won’t find anywhere else and that’s what I love about it, it’s innovative and bold and it really works well. Would recommend working here if you really want to make a positive difference in the lives of young people!”

“To the best care team in the business, I am writing to you to make you aware of the absolute credit the staff on this ward are to the NHS! After my partner being admitted for 24hours the care was fantastic around the clock. From pre and post op assessments and medications to care and compassion given, we can not fault anybody what so ever. In particular the support worker Nicky(or Vicky) and the nurse Louise(or Leanne) these ladies were exceptional in caring for my partner during a very sensitive procedure. I would just like to send my gratitude and thanks to them and the rest of the team as I know from experience in the field myself it's no single person, but the multiple professionals that contribute to the care provided. The other departments are not over looked either the doctor and anaesthetist were also amazing I just couldn't possibly remember all the names (evidently!) Ps apologies for the possible name mix up it has been a very long 24hrs however I absolutely needed to send my thanks and praise to this department. I hope this email reaches them so they are reminded just how incredible and important they are in the roles they do everyday! Many thanks From an extremely grateful patient and partner! “My two children absolutely love First steps, they have been there since they were 8 months and 2 attending a couple of days and now 2 and 4 attending full time Monday to Friday. Every room they’ve been in and moved up into has been brillliant. They have lots of outside time and lots of structured activities as well as free play too, they come home with so many things they’ve made that they’re so proud of! Too many to name but all staff have been amazing, I’ve seen mostly the same faces the whole time as turnover is so low and my children have adored everybody, they’ve made me feel so comfortable and confident leaving them knowing they’re so well looked after, there’s a real family feel. Ian, Luke and Tina have been brilliant, so organised in their management of everything and so helpful with flexibility where I’ve needed. So glad my kids have spent their first years here!”
