The studio has such a good vibe about it, all 3 of the guys, Sween, Tony and Louis work really well together as a team, you can definitely feel the love the studio! I ’ve had a couple of tattoos there with Louis. His attention to detail and process is amazing and he takes real pride his work. Would 100% recommend Louis and the team at Odin’s Eye”

“What a fantastic salon! Super friendly and welcoming staff and a lovely upbeat atmosphere. Joanne cut my hair and I’m so happy with it. She listened to what I wanted re length and layers and was actually able to create the cut I had in mind. She takes time and care to get everything just right. “Finally got a chance to write this review I booked my two little boys for hairdo style (a bit of gel) for my two young boys at Studio 8 barbers on the day of a family wedding. We turned up, and they said we had no appointment and had booked the wrong date (I did not, I mentioned the date twice at time of booking). I was freaking out as the wedding was in 1 hour. The barbers did not offer any advice/help, very cold towards us, and we walked out in a panic. Frantically, ran to The HIVE Barbers and we were welcomed with open arms. Did not have an appointment but kindly offered to help and calmed us down straight away. Styled both boys hair with a little gel, all done in less than 5 mins and didn't even charge a penny. Boys looked really smart, and style lasted all day. So so grateful for a kind-hearted, caring local business who actually care for local residents and went out his way, knowing the circumstances around the importance of the day. Did not profit a penny, yet gained a lot of respect and have spread of this kind, wonderful business. This happened summer 2024, sorry for late review.”

“What can I say about this place! It's an unassuming studio but once you walk in you get welcomed with an offer of a brew and made to feel comfortable from the off. I had my tattoo from laura but every artist was happy to talk and made you feel inclusive of their studio. Excellent craic, top notch artists, spotlessly clean. “My experience with the Tattoo Piercing Academy, Glasgow Course 2025 was beyond what I expected. Leah made the experience fun, informative, professional and flexible. Having AuDHD would normally cause me to have a harder time learning than some of the students, but she adapted the theory and the practical in a way that helped me understand and I feel so grateful for the intensive course which once completed, made me feel ready to continue my tattoo journey safely and professionally. I made friends for life with other tattooist , which is rare. And appreciate the lifelong support I'll receive from new friends and the Academy. I would add more stars than 5 if I could because they helped me achieve a lifelong dream of becoming a tattoo artist. Shiva always dealt with me as visited for skin care, she suggested micro needling, hydra facial and some effective injectable vitamins. I went for micro needling and vitamin C it’s effective for my skin condition as I have dark spot and hyperpigmentation. Good services and impressive results. I prefer as it’s local to me and they always offer good prices for me. 100%❤️”
