“I've been to see other 'financial experts' and in my experience, most of them tell you want to hear, and then try and sell you one of their products. I recently went to see David Shirley at Strategem FP. Not only is extremely knowledgable on a wide range of financial planning aspects, he's also very approachable. I told him my ideas on an investment strategy (which would have given him some fee paying work). David listened, then spent quite some time explaining why my strategy was not the optimal one for me, and provided me with an alternative strategy, which was best for me, although didn't provide him with any fees. It's safe to say that he really does act in the clients' best interest. I will more business people operated like David. Highly recommended.”
