“My experience with the Tattoo Piercing Academy, Glasgow Course 2025 was beyond what I expected. Leah made the experience fun, informative, professional and flexible. Having AuDHD would normally cause me to have a harder time learning than some of the students, but she adapted the theory and the practical in a way that helped me understand and I feel so grateful for the intensive course which once completed, made me feel ready to continue my tattoo journey safely and professionally. I made friends for life with other tattooist , which is rare. And appreciate the lifelong support I'll receive from new friends and the Academy. I would add more stars than 5 if I could because they helped me achieve a lifelong dream of becoming a tattoo artist. I will be forever grateful for the determination of the Academy to make sure I got the most out my course. Will definitely book piercing course next. “We’ve been here twice recently because it’s just so good! The first time I had the Turkish eggs with halloumi and sausage, then the second time I went for the chicken and pancakes, both were amazing. One visit was around 11am on a Saturday and there was about a 15-minute wait, but definitely worth it. The other time we went a bit later and got a table straight away. You can book ahead, but they also keep some tables for walk-ins. Staff are nice and friendly and really good to accommodate allergies too”

“I've used this shop several times even though it's not local to me, its a proper old school shop manned by blokes who know what they are talking about unlike some of the national chains out there. My latest visit was to purchase a new battery for my Seat Leon they tested the old one and explained what the issue was and the fact that the battery was on its way out and the fact that this was causing several functions on the vehicle to shut down and create warning lights as the car was trying to conserve power by turning stuff off. Great shop”

“I have been having my hair done by Mia for the past few years now and wow I would never go anywhere else. Being blonde, I think it can be hard to find the right hairdresser but Mia gets it right every time. The salon itself is beautifully done, making every visit feel like luxury. All of the girls are so professional and I regularly recommend Mia and the salon to friends and colleagues. “Great big neon signs to attract your attention. We ordered online (no honestly we were on the tram back from Bury) and collected our order when we got off at Heaton Park. Friendly staff and everywhere is clean, theres a few stools in the waiting area. We ordered 2 burgers, chips, cheesy chips and onion rings. When we got home the burgers were wrapped in foil and then greeseproof paper so they were still hot and fresh. The sauce is a little too hot for us but still very nice, onion rings were crispy as were the chips.”

“I really like this cafe. Great breakfast and though recently increased in price, still excellent value for money. Egg, two sausages/bacon, hash brown, mushrooms, beans, tea/,coffee, toast or fried bread. Well cooked and nicely presented. Service is also quick and the ladies friendly. I have to go to Bury now and again and see the Coffee House as a real treat. Highly recommend.”

“Never go anywhere else. Revolving cast of cutters with a few stalwarts who have been there forever. Generally you get the next available stylist but favourites can be requested.. modern styles with clipps prevail and scissor cuts available. For men the Turkish shave is highly recommended.”
