My initial thought was to buy a new one but I'm so glad I didn't. This is the second piece of work I've had done and both times I have been thoroughly satisfied with the quality and price. Jess did my first tattoo, a lovely memorial piece for me last year, and myself and family members have been to visit her since. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The studio is quirky and clean. The other ladies, Abbi and Cat, are lovely and I always have a laugh during my time in the studio.”

The studio has such a good vibe about it, all 3 of the guys, Sween, Tony and Louis work really well together as a team, you can definitely feel the love the studio! I ’ve had a couple of tattoos there with Louis. His attention to detail and process is amazing and he takes real pride his work. Would 100% recommend Louis and the team at Odin’s Eye”

“Finally got a chance to write this review I booked my two little boys for hairdo style (a bit of gel) for my two young boys at Studio 8 barbers on the day of a family wedding. We turned up, and they said we had no appointment and had booked the wrong date (I did not, I mentioned the date twice at time of booking). I was freaking out as the wedding was in 1 hour. The barbers did not offer any advice/help, very cold towards us, and we walked out in a panic. Frantically, ran to The HIVE Barbers and we were welcomed with open arms. Did not have an appointment but kindly offered to help and calmed us down straight away. Styled both boys hair with a little gel, all done in less than 5 mins and didn't even charge a penny. Boys looked really smart, and style lasted all day. So so grateful for a kind-hearted, caring local business who actually care for local residents and went out his way, knowing the circumstances around the importance of the day. Did not profit a penny, yet gained a lot of respect and have spread of this kind, wonderful business. This happened summer 2024, sorry for late review.”

“Was excited to visit Hea as I'd seen it last time I went to Prestwich but had already eaten at the makers market. We finally went on the weekend and it didn't disappoint! It's a small cafe so you might not find a seat quickly as when we went it was busy, but luckily the table in the window was available. There's lots to choose from on the menu such as Hong Kong style sandwiches, toast, and street food, as well as Hong Kong tea, coffee and bubble tea (but there are also normal teas and coffees). We ordered the ham and egg sandwich, satay steak sandwich and pistachio toast. Unfortunately some of the wraps are limited to summer months but we hope to try those next time. The wait was a bit long as it was busy, but it was worth the wait!! All very tasty and reasonably priced, especially if you go for the set menu. I definitely want to come back and try everything else!”

“I bought a sealed laptop from the Bury store - they gave me speedy next day delivery, unfortunately there was a minor software problem that I managed to get sorted. Meanwhile the manager (Alex) took ownership of my problem & offered a free return to get the laptop working. It was not required but I was very impressed by the standard of customer service. “What can I say about this place! It's an unassuming studio but once you walk in you get welcomed with an offer of a brew and made to feel comfortable from the off. I had my tattoo from laura but every artist was happy to talk and made you feel inclusive of their studio. Excellent craic, top notch artists, spotlessly clean. All round good eggs with a cracking atmosphere.”
