“My partner booked Ela for a surprise date night! It was ‘nice’ .. I asked for olives while ordering my drink and was told no? Thought this was odd! But Nevermind! Order was olives, Saganaki (just tasted like very burned cheese) a trio of dips with hummus, a cheese pastry thing (can’t remember the name) mixed grill, Kleftiko - Wasn’t the best? Watery and flavourless (I had had it elsewhere and thought the same so maybe it just isn’t for me?) not sure I would recommend or go back! But I do know other people who really like it!”

The reception fronted by the unbelievable skills of Mandi who found slots that didn’t exist , right through to the dentist Hamza who worked miracles at times that were definitely testing and long even the odd weekend. “Amazing food, great service and unusual idea, all you can eat steak with the system of controlling when you wish to be served again by flipping the card from green to red. We visited last night for the first time and left really full and impressed. This is definitely not our last visit,the next time will probably come for bottomless service so drinks could flow as well. It's not cheap but it is worth the money. “I've been going here regularly for a couple of years. I always leave sharp and happy. Staff are friendly, chatty when I'm chatty, less chatty when I want a cut without conversation . I usually get cut by Craig or Jo, but since Jamie transformed my 10yo from a shaggy mop top to sharp and cool I'll definitely be utilising his skills for myself too. Slightly cramped waiting space and occasionally I'm waiting by the door or even outside, but always worth it. Reasonable prices.”
