“We have been seeing Jenny for over 2 years since our son was 8 weeks old. He was born with Spina Bifida, we started going to Jenny to ensure he was meeting all his mobility milestones. Jenny is really experienced and knowledgeable, helped so much with advice, and lots of tasks to practice at home. Seeing Jenny has been one of the best decisions we made. Our son has full mobility and probably would have had anyway however having regular appointments has given us the opportunity to learn how to help his walking journey with confidence and guidance. She has picked up on things we wouldn’t spot which helped when we meet with the consultants. Would really recommend”

“We came to Don and the team at Dogwood Referrals in June 2023 after our 9-month-old cat, Edward, was hit by a car, leaving his legs in a terrible state. From the moment Dogwood took over Edward’s care, we knew he was in the best place. They successfully treated his front leg, and worked tirelessly to save his rear leg over several days, but unfortunately, the damage worsened by delayed treatment at our previous vet meant it couldn’t be saved. Don performed the amputation with incredible skill, and Edward’s recovery was amazing. The team cared for Edward—and us as emotional owners—with so much compassion. Edward healed quickly, with no visible scarring or complications, and was back to his cheerful, mischievous self within weeks. If I ever face another emergency with a pet, I will do everything I can to have them referred to Dogwood’s care.”

“I would not hesitate in recommending this vets. The entire team; reception, nurses, vet and cleaner are all very friendly and helpful. I had a concern regarding my dog, I was given an appointment straight away and after speaking to the vet blood test were recommended. The vet nurse gave me the option to wait if I wanted for the results. Within 25 mins I had the results. Thankfully my dogs results were fine and I cannot thank you enough for the peace of mind you gave me for processing these results so quickly rather than having to wait days.”

“I have been treated by Claire Downs for the past year for a nerve injury to my shoulder following an accident. I can't recommend the Nerve Injury Clinic and Claire highly enough. She is extremely professional, knowledgeable, explains things brilliantly and has helped me regain almost all of my shoulder function. When I first started seeing her, I was in a lot of discomfort, the biomechanics of my shoulder were all over the place and I was unable to lift my arm above 90 degrees. As well as being a brilliant physiotherapist, she is also a lovely person - very kind, calm, compassionate and relaxed. I will miss her!”
