With that being said,… This establishment is made with love, passion, blood, sweat, and determination that came from its owner, Jori Lakars, aka Hott Mama, aka The Mama who always gave herself goals and standards that benefited the world to the fullest and implemented the highest standards possible. A quick glance at her path shows that she has been successful in the industry well known in a way that the number of 5 reviews or social media followers will not reflect. I met her personally only once before she moved to England about 17 years ago. She was working in a popular tattoo shop in Wicker Park that I won’t name. ( if you know, you know) the had long ravenous hair and substantially fewer tattoos. Although I had met many women who were in the industry, few were celebrated by their peers. The shop posted a large banner in the front window that said ‘we have a female tattoo artist.’ I had never seen that before even in a liberal city like Chicago. Soon after that, every shop in the area had at least one ‘female.’ She went on to work at many of the best rated shops and worked on the best artists in the business as clients. When she moved, we were sad yet proud to see that she was following her passion overseas. She would wonder up one of the top artists anywhere she worked. She finally got her own place and put every ounce of work into it. Sadly, she had just acquired two young brilliant talents just recently. A couple of weeks ago, she passed away in a car accident without any warning. I t is a shock that she is gone and her energy is eternally resting. I have known her half of my life and I have never known anyone like her. A true inspiration and individual person who is driven to create. If you are lucky enough to have had a moment with her, you know what I mean. Love to her local community from Chicago. We were all lucky enough to be together for as long as we could,…… Cheers to Jori.”

The studio has such a good vibe about it, all 3 of the guys, Sween, Tony and Louis work really well together as a team, you can definitely feel the love the studio! I ’ve had a couple of tattoos there with Louis. His attention to detail and process is amazing and he takes real pride his work. Would 100% recommend Louis and the team at Odin’s Eye”

After attending various conventions to select an artist, Arrons style, design, approach and experience stood out as head and shoulders better than anyone else I was considering. At time of this review I'm 75% through my second full sleeve with Arron. His work is absolutely unbelievable and I can't stop catching glimpses of my new tattoos whenever I walk past mirrors.”

“What a fabulous artist! I took my 82 year old friend for her very first tattoo. She was doing this to raise money for the Royal British Legion Women's Section. Colin decided not to charge her, draw up a tattoo based on her design, constantly put her mind at ease an reassured her, discussing anything to take her mind off the possible pain. My friend said it did not hurt at all. I can't recommend Colin's work enough. A total professional, a fabulous artist and a kind and generous man. He is a credit to his profession and to humanity in general. I am planning on going back and driving more than 1 hour to visit his home and studio.”

The Tattoo Station studio is clean, comfortable, well equipped and tastefully decorated with plenty of nice pieces of art to feast your eyes on whilst being tattooed. “I’ve been going to Blue Valentine tattoo for 2.5 years to see Sioux Tattoo. She has done the majority of my tattoos and the vibes are always on point. The art is incredible every time and i get so many compliments on them. Sioux Tattoo is literally the easiest person to spend 8 hours in pain with; the music and banter is always there. Can’t recommend enough!!”

Clean and tidy environment with toilet facilities if needed. Had an amazing piece done yesterday, couldn't recommend George highly enough!! Super happy with his work, will definitely be going again. Also got to see Lois at work and again a excellent tattooist happy and chatty. You both made me feel welcome and at ease. Well done guys x”
