“My name is Ahlam, I am 19 years old, and my student number is 1485206. I’m really proud to be in my second year at The Manchester College, Shena Simon Campus. I’m really enjoying my time here.The teachers and staff are so supportive and helpful. I’ve learned a lot and feel more confident every day. It’s a great place to study! Last year, I completed the ESOL (16-18) Entry 3 course with the teacher Mark Gourlay , which helped me build my English skills and confidence. This year, I’m studying Functional Skills English and Maths with the adult group, and I’m really enjoying it. The teachers here are fantastic — my Maths teacher, Maryama Gholami, and my English teacher, Nuzhat Siddique, and my IT Teacher Asif Saleh are all very supportive, kind, and always explain everything clearly. They always take the time to help every student and make sure we all understand the lesson. The staff are else very helpful and friendly. Whenever I need help or have a question, there is always someone there to support me. The college offers so many great facilities, and the learning environment is very comfortable and welcoming. I’ve learned so much since I joined, not just in English and Maths, but also about communication, teamwork, and confidence. I feel really happy and safe here, and I enjoy coming to college every day. The Manchester College has given me a great experience, and I’m very thankful to be part of it.
