“Reliable, Reasonable and Responsive. We wanted to add to and adapt our kitchen (ovens and hob replacing aga, lots of electrics, new peninsula, new worktops, rearrangement of some existing cupboards etc.) . Penny not only listened to and understood our needs,but offered constructive advice and importantly didn't tell us "you would be better to replace everything" or "if we move a unit, we can't be sure not to damage it" - both of which we heard from other companies. There was also a refreshing openness about the pricing, so we could judge options properly, which gave us great confidence. Richard, Mick and Warren turned up on exactly the day the install was booked and did a very good and tidy job of fitting everything. We had a minor issue with a plinth heater after the install, but handled appropriately without any fuss. Project was handled well by Penny and Suzie and any queries were always answered very promptly and efficiently. It was a pleasure dealing with everyone at Byles and I would highly recommend.”

“Called in for breakfast, 1st time, was more than happy. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Food and drink a Big 10/10 food was freshly cooked and piping hot. They even avoided one of my all time pet hates, cutting the toast corner to corner(it drives me insane lol) if you haven't been and are in the area definitely call in. “Fantastic range of starters and main courses for all tastes, from mild curries to extra spicy ones. You won’t miss the fact they don’t have meat in. The in restaurant service is excellent. Not the cheapest, but you are paying for quality of ingredients and presentation. Highly recommended for vegetarians, vegans and those wanting to try something different.”

“Came here after a dog walk at teatime for some food with the dog. Had Thai food and it was absolutely lovely. Sat by the bar with the food as we had the dog and absolutely loved it. Good music in the background lovely atmosphere & Quality Thai authentic food and really nice friendly pub. Would 100% come back”

“Only Indian restaurant we dine at, Menu is very varied,my favourite is the Shathkora, a medium curry with Lime, food quality and portions are spot on, service with a friendly smile, everytime. Moving soon into the precinct, so more room as its only a small restaurant currently. Prices are good, and the cobra is just right.”

“Hello, We ordered food for my son's birthday party. The food was delicious, and everyone loved it. It was delivered on time, and the staff were lovely. There was so much food for everyone. I highly recommend them for parties. PS: Chicken Biryani and Chicken lollipop were yummy, but Parotta and chicken curry were the stars of the day. “This review is based on 1 particular meal, customer service, food quality and packaging in comparison to other takeaways I’ve been to in Manchester and London… I don’t usually give reviews unless I’ve been to a place on a number of occasions because sometimes like everyone else, we have bad days therefore, food or service might not be as consistent. However, fortunately to say - Heng Seng have been consistent over the years I have been going there. My review is based on the vegetable chow mien and chicken (halal) chow mien dishes alongside salt & pepper chips and prawn crackers (had other stuff too but I’m comparing to other takeaways). - Over the course of 5 years, me and my partner fell in love with their vegetable chow mien. Tonight, the chicken (halal) chow mien took that spot. Their chow mien is BANGING! Full of flavour, generous on the portion size and not just full of noodles (like some places). It’s not heavy on oil, doesn’t leave you feeling unhealthy or groggy - salt and pepper chips: again, good size, lots of flavour and not too much salt - prawn crackers: these are just right. A lot of places we’ve been to either tastes too fish or are too oily - so hands down, Heng Seng smashed it. We’ve always ordered our food then collected. Never had to wait long and customer service was always exceptional and first class. I’m not a food critic btw - I just know my flavours, oil and spices cos I’m an Asian! Plus I travel a lot. In summary, really impressed with this takeaway.”

“Stopped into this pub on the way home from a weekend wedding to break up our journey. The chef and host could not do anymore for us. The food (mikes kitchen) was delicious I had a chicken roast and my husband had a homemade pie. Our daughter is a fussy eater they accommodated her perfectly. Staff were very friendly and easy to talk to, as we left they were setting up for karaoke, wish we weren't leaving.”

“Diane the member of staff was very friendly and polite and allowed us to change tables for the amazing view over Manchester. There was no Turkey available on the Christmas menu, but there were plenty of other options available so we chose Gammon. The food was excellent quality and so delicious. We love the food and ambience here. A very nice place to eat and drink for any occasion.”

The really kind Lady and gentleman opened the kitchen back up for us to cook our meal. We ordered a large amount of food between a few of us and it tasted absolutely delicious! Amazing portion sizes and even better prices!! We have had exactly the same from other Chinese takeaways and they’ve been much more expensive and worse in taste.
