Tasted like real Eastern European cooked in the home, which is actually what the lovely host told us: all cooked by his wife. Unbelievable desert, nothing was too heavy, but rich and layered tastes. “Barry, with his very strong base of knowledge, talked widely and enthusiastically about Arts & Crafts in the North West. There are so many beautiful artefacts right on our doorstep waiting to be discovered, and the network of artists and craftsmen was fascinating. Perhaps the 'best bit' has to be the admission and recognition of talented women from the start, unlike the Art Workers' Guild in London, with which I am familiar.”

“Hey fabulous how it is for kids and the adult, s get the same treatment as you would a toddler.. I don't want to go on about it but I don't know how to put it nice... 256 is great but u can not get in unless you are a student... I love that place and I have been in the place for the best part of my life but I'm not allowed to have a good time in there as I am not a student.. I think students are going to regret the loss of the intelligence offered by the local people who are connected to the area and have a good account of the situation we are all living in the UK... I miss mingling and we are just going out for a few beers and a good time down the local pub... I will check out who to complain to then apply for a new world order for the sake of the party to be some what special for both young and old ish...”

“We are so happy we sent our little boy to POD! The staff are the best! Everything they do feels personal to you and they really get to know each child individually. We are always kept in the loop about everything they do and plan to do with the tapestry app. The flexibility is a god send for us, with dad being a teacher we don’t need to pay for childcare during school holidays! “Seemed to have got lucky as my room seemed to be one of the better condition rooms and not as described on some other reviews. Comfortable, clean with a nice bright bathroom. It was one of the rooms on the same floor as the reception. Ask for a room on that floor! No lifts however and the reception itself is on the 1st floor. The staff help to carry your cases up. Overall great value for money as a stopover hotel after a late flight in from Manchester airport.”

“I thought I'd leave a review since I had a pleasant experience with them. So I rented a flat for 3 years. During my tenancy a few things broke/worn out and they were very quick to fix it. Usually the next morning. Ending my tenancy was quite hassle free as well as I moved to a larger property. Great landlords/agents overall and would rent from them again.”
