“The more I visit this mini-market the more I like it. Occasionally, I stand outside and wait for it to open. I wait in eager anticipation for the sequence of events to commence. Lights are switched on, steel shutters are raised just like a portcullis in a castle. At the appointed hour the door is unlocked and the lady with the broom commences her daily chores. Her movements as she sweeps with her partner, the broom, is, a delight not to be missed. O the elegance and delicate movement is beguiling. Once inside one finds the shelves well stocked with quality merchandise; the aisles are relatively spacious, unlike a similar mini-market, in Rowell. As the hours pass, it gets very busy. And at the checkouts one is greeted by the most friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and superlative checkout assistants one could wish to meet. Finally, there is ample free car parking behind this wonderful emporium. Strongly recommended.”

“I took a parcel in to send back I had no labels to put on , the staff in the post office I think went above & beyond to help me out it’s always a pleasure to go into this store the staff are always polite every time”

“Wide selection of materials for sewing clothes, excellent clothes repair service, and accessories such as buttons, needles, threads, and various coloured ribbons, wonderful shop seems small but if you go further into the shop, the first floor and second floors are excellent you will find the accessories”

“Clean store with a large reduction fridge. Self-serving checkouts and manned checkouts. Trolleys kept just inside the door by the disabled bay that makes it disabled friendly. Busy store with a wide range of products. Hot coffee and hot pastrys are available next to self-service checkouts”

“Nice and clean store. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff. The counters are well stocked. The layout of the store is also very homely. All in all a good store to visit close to town centre.”

“I love this shop. The owners are amazing and there is a wide variety of Asian and African groceries. They get fresh vegetables on Wednesday mornings and their prices are very very good. Good luck”

“This is our regular big shop location but this week I was extra impressed. I lost an earphone under the shelves and couldn’t reach. Charlie was so helpful getting straight down on the floor and digging it out for me. This was Fri 28/11 about 8:45pm. Massive thank you Charlie!”
