“Enquired on Facebook about availability of a darts Scolia system, which are out of stock everywhere currently. Steven quickly responded and had a delivery due in. He was extremely helpful throughout, keeping me updated of delivery status and ringing to ensure a date we would be at home to receive. Highly recommend AS Pub Sports.”
“Friendly staff and great facilities. I use the pool and gym, generally no issues with either. Problems with hot water in the past would be my only negative but this seems to have been sorted. A good value fitness and sports club conveniently located in the village for local residents. Opening times and availability of general swim sessions can be somewhat limited because of the setup in a working public school, and there is not a huge range of equipment or number of machines in the fitness suite but for me Willison Centre is worth the cost and I enjoy being a member. I also love the flexible rolling subscription system so I don’t have to pay for a month if I have sickness, injury or holidays etc. and wouldn’t get the use.”
“We visited for my wife’s birthday, and we can confidently say this is the best Italian restaurant we’ve tried in the UK (and we’re Italian!). The food quality is outstanding, every dish was full of flavour and perfectly balanced. Everything is homemade, which is incredibly rare to find. We honestly couldn’t recommend it more. Bravissimi !”
“Great service, accommodation and catering at SkiWeekender's Aravis Lodge. Our party of 10 adults and children had a fantastic mid week break at SkiWeekender's Aravis Lodge. Great location to access either Le Grand Bornand or La Clusaz, with shuttle buses every morning taking you to the slopes, and pick up late afternoon. If you take the ski bus the bus stop is just 50 yards from the accommodation. All staff were fantastic, always looking to help, and ensure you have the best possible stay. Food was excellent; nice breakfast, amazing cakes in the afternoon and fantastic evening meal with plenty of wine included. I would strongly recommend SkiWeekender and the Aravis Lodge accommodation, as the service, catering, transport and location offer great value for money.”
“We got dragged, kicking and screaming, to the track play day at Bedford athletic stadium. 4 different sizes of trains to play with, including ride ons, hot wheels tracks, a bouncy castle, optional face painting and snack bar. It is wild!! Great fun, loads for us dads to help the kids with. I'm not sure when the next one is, but if you and the kids love trains, get booking!”
“I have real difficulties getting my girls (aged 6&7) to enjoy clubs, but this is their second time going and they've come home begging to go back! I think they are especially enjoying the smaller setting (spratton school). They adore Charlie & Emma and its so lovely to see their big smiles at the end of the day, thank you!”
