We had crying, real anxiety and battling to go home. The reason I persevered was because of his natural love and talent and I knew that he would love it. The other reason I stayed was that Tracey the Principal actually came out to the car that my son refused to get out of and coached and empathised and was so patient and nurturing that in the end James gave it a go and now loves it and it's the highlight of his week. I can't thank the team enough for their professionalism, passion and dedication to the kids that go there. Brilliant place for kids and their self-esteem and confidence.”

We get to do all sorts of fun stuff (you can opt out if anything feels too far out of your comfort zone) with all sorts of different people - learners and drama teachers alike. “I have been at unit for my whole life since i was 5 and now I have just completed grade 8 BTDA exams in ballet and modern jazz. The only way i can describe unit is a family, I have had so many amazing opportunities through unit, working at a cafe at 13, working in the dancewear shop and running the snack barre. I have loved student teaching as i can do what suzi, bex, SG and jess did for me and inspire the younger students giving them my advice and guidance.
