“Mag Mug Café – Nottingham | A Hidden Gem with Middle Eastern Vibes I've been a regular at Mag Mug Café for the past 5 months, and it’s safe to say it’s become one of my favourite spots in Nottingham. If you’re into cozy cafés with chill vibes, good music, and a Middle Eastern flair—this place should be on your list. The highlight of their menu (and trust me, I’ve tried most of it by now) is hands down the Saffron Milk Cake—rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. Their Tiramisu Cake is another must-try; light, indulgent, and just the right amount of sweet. Pair that with their Arabic Coffee Pot or a warm cup of Karak Chai, and you’ve got a match made in café heaven. The ambience is lovely, especially at night. Soft lighting, mellow tunes, and a calm, welcoming atmosphere make it perfect for catching up with friends or just enjoying some solo time. They also have outdoor seating, which is great when the weather’s nice. I’ve spent countless evenings here working on my laptop, sipping chai, and just vibing to the music. “Fantastic traditional pub with great selection of drinks, friendly bar staff, outdoor seating and chill out areas. The prices were really good compared to the city centre so it's definitely worth a walk up to if you are visiting Nottingham. There was a beer festival on for the weekend when we attended with some excellent local hand pulls.”
