“If you are looking for somewhere different to enjoy a pizza then Secret Stable is a must. Great location. Very friendly welcome and a rustic setting you have to see to believe. It is most certainly different - but it works so well. The pizzas are amazing. We were in the 'Pig Shed' and had our own fire with logs etc provided free of charge. They only operate a few days each month with tickets on sale from the 1st of each month - they sell quickly so get in early!”

“Stumbled across Knead Pizza in Prysten House and stopped in for a glass of rosé in the courtyard, and WOW what an absolute hidden gem. The setting is truly picturesque, full of historic character and peaceful charm right in the heart of Plymouth. You can smell the woodfired pizza drifting out from Knead Pizza inside, which just adds to the atmosphere. It feels like a step back in time. I found myself imagining the old merchant’s house in its heyday, surrounded by the hustle and bustle of a very different Plymouth. I visited on a quiet Wednesday afternoon, which I’d highly recommend if you’re after a calm and reflective experience, really quite perfect. The service was great too; friendly, welcoming, and happy to let you take it all in at your own pace. Definitely worth a visit in the evening as well, there’s something magical about the courtyard as the light fades. Can’t wait to return and try the food next time, in which case, I will be updating accordingly!”

“Hunted this place down after seeing a sign in port issac (it's former pop up). Their main base of operations is within a cargo unit with other eateries. Pizzas were fantastic and came out super quickly. We were there for late Sunday lunch 2pm ish? Followed the recommendations of the chef, very happy with the results. I had the capricciosa and my partner had the fennel sausage along with some garlic and cheese bread. All fantastic. She even gave us a take away box as I couldn't finish mine in one sitting. Worth the visit!”

“Popped in to Wagamama for a quick bite to eat before work and the staff and food were an absolute delight. Our server Joe was a total diamond! They were super friendly and attentive and made our meal really lovely. Not to mention the chefs cooking up absolute treats in the kitchen. Honestly wasn’t expecting anything aside from a quick meal in a well known chain but the staff here really made it special - it’s really worth a visit especially if you have Joe as your server :)! I couldn't find Thai basil in the refrigerated section but when I asked her she said "come back in 20 minutes - it's unloading from the van!". And it did. This store is likely your best bet in Plymouth for Asian (SE Asian, East Asian, and South Asian) ingredients!”

“We’d definitely recommend trying the delicious stone baked pizzas from La Bocca! We had a vegan margherita and vegan mixed vegetable and both were incredible! Staff were all lovely and Zara was very polite. Cool and chilled atmosphere and worth visiting if in Bude!”
