“Absolutely lovely customer service if I ever had a problem the boss or the other workers would sort the issue out straight away with no issues lovely place hygiene up to standard and the food is immaculate. Not too greasy not too dry. I definitely would recommend the donna kebab wraps Absolutely puckers aka Beautiful food if I could rate this, it would definitely be a 12/10”

“Ate at the Alder Tree tonight for the first time, and what a great meal. Had the nachos to share for starter, this was plenty, then the steak with scampi and the mixed grill and wine, plus a couple of drinks to start with all for under £50.00. Beautiful meal well served, so couldn't fault. Will definitely be regulars in the future. Well done all the staff, you deserve it.”

“We have recently discovered Mai Thai and eaten once in the cafe and once at home. Both were absolutely beautiful. Devoured by the whole family and everyone said it was the best Thai food we'd ever had. Great value. Great food. Friendly service. Wonderful!”

“Been here twice. Food was nice had breakfast was very big plate for size amount of food. They put bread on same plate bit strange as gets all greasy and other things like egg. I prefer my bread on different plate but if you take off the bread then plate was too empty for food amount. I would recommend small plate for breakfast and side plate for bread or toast. Spoiled it for me”

“Well.. First time having sat and eaten in, will most definitely be back again and again. The cafe itself is lovely, light and modern in decor. Really amazing menu with lots of variety, really great on prices and the food was DELICIOUS! Oh and quite possibly the best homemade coleslaw I've ever eaten. Get yourself down there!”

“Went here for Sunday Lunch a fortnight ago. It was the best Sunday Lunch I've had for a long time. Everything was fresh, hot & beautiful. The staff were extremely nice. I couldn't fault it. Would definitely recommend it & I have. Well worth a visit.”

“Absolutely amazing little spot beside the canal, located in the new Gorilla Beer Hall! The menu is fab and caters to all, with meat & vegan options. Really good value for money & portion size is fantastic. Mac and cheese bits are sublime! We will definitely be returning.”

Home made chips and milky coffee are the cafe’s favourites and will be ongoing.shepherds pie, cheesecakes, quiche also new panini menu to be added.”
