Met by the lovely Alana who went above and beyond to check we were comfortable in this warm weather, that our rooms were perfect, explain about the amenities and other local attractions. She was enthusiastic and friendly and just how you want to be greeted in a new town! Thank you Alana for making us feel so welcome!”

“Really pleased with the hotel. Clean, and the staff are amazing. 3 days we have stayed here due to unfortunate circumstances, but the stay is excellent. Elina, the lady who checked us in, has only been here a couple of weeks, but she is superb. Really patient and friendly. She is on for the future. Perfect!”

“Stopped off here for a night while driving from up north to down south. Really good hotel, staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and spacious. The bathroom was plenty large and the atmosphere of the hotel was very comfortable. Very good breakfast with a nice restaurant area. Great location with a Morrisons across the road, easy access to the motorway and Rotherham only a few minutes drive down the road. Really good price and value for money, especially if you sign up to the free Ibis/Accor membership for members prices. Would recommend!”

“For me, best cafe in Rotherham town centre. I can't comment on it as a bar (never been on an evening), but it's my go-to for a Saturday morning breakfast. Independent, friendly, good food, reasonably priced. The staff have a good rapport with regulars. Decent music a lot of the time too, which makes a nice change for cafes. I recommend their full breakfasts - I'm not a small fella, and their large breakfast is too much for me! They take card payments, but cash is preferred if possible.”

“It's a clean little sarnie shop. Pop in and order, freshly prepared, then and there. The best bacon, egg, and tomato butty I've ever had. A stack of perfectly cooked bacon and a runny egg. They really take care preparing, neat and tidy and delicious.”

“Honestly exceeded all expectations. Wonderful vibes. All the humans are friendly and welcoming. Good coffee. Pizza and baguettes were freshly prepared and delicious. Brilliant details - cloud lightshades against a bright blue ceiling, emerald tabletops, creative cakes, fab eclectic playlist, and rainbows everywhere. Serves Camden brewery beers, and has some cracking cocktail ingredients. Totally loved it.”

“From the outside view, the cakes and the staff, this place is a hidden gem so many drive past without realising. The apple pie and victoria sponge are delicious. The staff so friendly, chatty, when they have time as it can be busy. Get yourself in there you won't regret it.”

“An absolutely amazing experience. Took family out after recommendation from my brother. The food was amazing and delicious and plenty.. Only thing I would suggest is change the chips as they were a little dry (They were cooked well but I've tasted better chips in other places just a friendly suggestion) The service was 5 star.. Really friendly staff and really looked after us. Gave us extras and sorted kids with extra food at no extra cost. Overall amazing experience and above and beyond staff going that extra mile.. Will Definitely be back again and suggesting this place to others. Great work!!!”
