“Great service with a friendly face and the food is always top notch, they really care about the food which is all cooked on order, I was informed about this sandwich shop from a friend and gave it a go, got to say I'll always be coming back from now on”

“An amazing place. The customers were all very friendly and the staff were welcoming and helpful. The coffee is first rate, my toasted tea cake was excellent and they had some lovely gluten free fruit loaf. The decor alone is worth a visit and the prices are cheap compared to the well know chain coffee shops.”

“Ordered takeaway from The Cake Ole tonight and it was wonderful. Its so nice to have a takeaway with more than just burgers and kebabs, pizza or curry. We had thw grill boxes and a pudding each for a very reasonable price. Think we've found a new favourite place. Delivery was fast and the food tasty. Definitely recommend.”

I’m a regular customer here and I have never been let down, the staff are an amazing bunch of ladies who are so welcoming and they make the best sandwich’s around! “This review is based from 6 month ago up to the present day of posting - Since finding this Gem of a cafe my wife & I have been popping in for a small breakfast on average about once a week- we have never had to complain once yet- Michael (the owner )& his staff always make you feel welcome - it is a nice & clean sized cafe with seating for 20 people + toilet facilities- if you are in the area why not give it a try - I don't think you will go away disappointed”

“Fabulous breakfast sandwiches. Knocks all others out of the park. Generously filled, back bacon, Bury black pudding, egg, and the famous 90% pewerk patty. Cooked to perfection, excellent quality and the value is terrific too. Served with a smile and a quick hello from the main man (and his bad back). Definitely be back!”

“have not been over 3 years, mainly due to covid pandemic. we visited 1:40pm on saturday, unsurprisingly, there wasn't long queue. (probable a pub was also opened in garden centre) and plenty of empty tables. the standard of food was maintained. the fish butty was delicious, the chocolate tart and fruit cake were tasty.”
