“We have recently discovered Mai Thai and eaten once in the cafe and once at home. Both were absolutely beautiful. Devoured by the whole family and everyone said it was the best Thai food we'd ever had. Great value. Great food. Friendly service. Wonderful!”

“Well.. First time having sat and eaten in, will most definitely be back again and again. The cafe itself is lovely, light and modern in decor. Really amazing menu with lots of variety, really great on prices and the food was DELICIOUS! Oh and quite possibly the best homemade coleslaw I've ever eaten. Get yourself down there!”

“Old menus are being assessed and the input from all customers old and new are taken on board. All requests will be taken into consideration. New menu ideas are currently being tried and tested and customer satisfactory is very important to all staff. All staff are qualified and hold level 2 food hygiene certificates. Please come along and try our new menu’s and daily specials. Home made chips and milky coffee are the cafe’s favourites and will be ongoing.shepherds pie, cheesecakes, quiche also new panini menu to be added.”

“EXQUISITE!! My family and I had breakfast with Santa on Saturday and what a lovely time we had. After having Santa breakfasts previously at larger establishments, Borders offered a much cozier and comfortable experience. Santa was amazing, popping in and out throughout our time there. The children loved him and it felt very personal. The staff were wonderful and very organised and to top it off the breakfast was great! Thank you so much for an excellent experience....we will be returning!”

“Amazing staff, great vibe and decent music! My partner goes here couple times a month and is perfect as a daily boozer or a good night out on their Wed/Sun Jam nights. Music ranges but usually is more rock/retro focussed but welcomes all.”

“This shop does not disappoint. A large selection of high quality shoes, handbags and accessories at reasonable prices. The staff are extremely helpful and there is an old world charm to the shop that is reminiscent of days gone by. I had a lovely morning shopping there with my daughter, punctuated by a visit to the charming cafe on the first floor. This is how shopping should and used to be. Well done Pettits, I'll be back.”

“Been here twice. Food was nice had breakfast was very big plate for size amount of food. They put bread on same plate bit strange as gets all greasy and other things like egg. I prefer my bread on different plate but if you take off the bread then plate was too empty for food amount. I would recommend small plate for breakfast and side plate for bread or toast. Spoiled it for me”

“We purchased groupin vouchers for afternoon tea and were really happy with the experience. Food was excellent , plenty to eat ,well presented and tasty. The cups saucers and plates are pretty and delicate , it's tea and coffee included and we went for glass of prossseco option. This was a large glass too. The bistro is frwash and modern , spotless clean . Lovely decorations and ornaments around the building. Light and airy . The staff were all really helpful and friendly . Great way for a family to celebrate a birthday .”

“I used to have a few pints in here from time to time. The real beers and ales were excellent. The staff were friendly and there was a lively atmosphere occasionally. Sports and leisure programmes were regularly on the television. There was space to drink outdoors as well. I've chilled out outside with a pint once or twice.”
