“EXQUISITE!! My family and I had breakfast with Santa on Saturday and what a lovely time we had. After having Santa breakfasts previously at larger establishments, Borders offered a much cozier and comfortable experience. Santa was amazing, popping in and out throughout our time there. The children loved him and it felt very personal. The staff were wonderful and very organised and to top it off the breakfast was great! Thank you so much for an excellent experience....we will be returning!”

“I used to have a few pints in here from time to time. The real beers and ales were excellent. The staff were friendly and there was a lively atmosphere occasionally. Sports and leisure programmes were regularly on the television. There was space to drink outdoors as well. I've chilled out outside with a pint once or twice.”

“Bought a kitchen one year ago, had a problem with one of the fridges. This resulted in damage to one of the cabinets. The team at Howdens Swinton have been absolutely amazing and both have been replaced in a timely manner. I can't recommend or thank them enough.”

“Just had bathroom completely ripped out and redesigned. Martin listened to what I wanted and designed the bathroom as I would like it and I wasn't easy to please, but he managed it with patience. Fitters Dave and Karl with a k, were superb. Cannot fault the workmanship. I would have these lads working on anything. In fact when they finished we missed them. Would certainly recommend Platinum, and Start to finish to anyone.”

“Great pub/bar in Mexborough with loads of drink choices at very reasonable prices e.g. 6 bottles of Bud in an ice bucket for £14 (as of March 2024). Loads of seating, both inside and out with snooker and pool tables available, as well as a DJ on weekends. ☆☆☆☆☆”

“Absolutely amazing little spot beside the canal, located in the new Gorilla Beer Hall! The menu is fab and caters to all, with meat & vegan options. Really good value for money & portion size is fantastic. Mac and cheese bits are sublime! We will definitely be returning.”
