“After visiting last week with my daughter for an unsuccessful procedure we returned today to see a different dentist to which the whole procedure was a lot more pleasant and successful. I’d like to start by saying after seeing Victoria Greenwood last week my daughter came away afraid and upset to which Victoria did nothing to console or help my daughter through was what a painful process for a 7 year old, there was eye rolling and impatience throughout which left us with no results! This week however after seeing Jessica & Orla the whole thing from start to finish was fantastic, they went through every stage of the process before starting and even showed my daughter what the tools would feel like on her hand before they started to proceed, they had the patience of saints and clearly had people and children skills unlike some. When I booked this appointment I wasn’t sure who I was going to end up with but clearly after being asked when I arrived if I knew it would be them and not Victoria something had been said from Victorias side maybe that she won’t see my daughter again? Either way we’re so glad we ended up with Jessica and Orla. They really tried to put my daughter first and make her feel comfortable the whole way through rather than just sticking things in her mouth and getting annoyed when it hurt her! We will only be asking for Jessica ans Orla in future. So thank you both very much.”

“My experience at Barlborough Practice Plus Group in January 2025 for a knee arthroscopy and meniscectomy was overwhelmingly positive, and I would highly recommend their services. My interactions with the reception staff were efficient and helpful. The X-ray department was also well-organized and the staff were professional. The pre-med assessment was thorough, and I felt well-prepared for my surgery. I had a consultation with Mr. Nawar Abdulsattar in November 2024 prior to my surgery. I greatly appreciated his honest and realistic approach regarding what to expect post-surgery. He provided helpful advice without giving any false hope, which I found very reassuring. My knee surgery, a knee arthroscopy and meniscectomy, took place in January 2025. The ward nurses were exceptionally kind and pleasant, making my stay as comfortable as possible. The hospital environment was also remarkably clean. I was pleased to receive physiotherapy before being discharged, which was a great benefit. My surgeon took the time to come and explain exactly what he had done during the procedure before I went home, which I found very informative and reassuring. My follow-up appointment with Mr. Nawar Abdulsattar approximately six weeks after surgery was another positive experience. He is such a pleasant, happy, and approachable person. He listened attentively when I mentioned that my knee was still locking. It's now been three weeks since that follow-up, and I'm delighted to report that the knee locking has stopped, and my pain has also improved somewhat. Overall, I received the best care from all members of staff at Barlborough Practice Plus Group. From the initial consultation to the post-operative follow-up, everyone I encountered was professional, kind, and dedicated to providing excellent patient care.
