βI have 4 children at this school, and find it extremely friendly and welcoming, from staff, teachers, and other families and pupils. The school has a very "family orientated" approach. When my twins started in reception they were paired with a year 6 to be their "buddy", they loved having someone to look out for them and have lunch with. The year 6's also love having the responsibility. All of the pupils know and interact with each other across the school. It is an all round school that aims to make confident, independent learners which suits all 4 of my different children very well. The children spend lots of time learning outside in the woods in forest school lessons learning core subject like maths without even realizing it. The nursery is very well structured and has prepared my children very well for moving up through the school. They learn Spanish from nursery all the way through the school, and my children never cease to amaze me in how many Spanish words they know. It is second nature to the children to perform and stand up in front of one another and parents at nativity (for EYSF) to informal and formal concerts throughout the year, which is always a pleasure. All of the teachers are so enthusiastic and always put in 110% showing a really care for the children, and keen to keep parents involved and informed. I love that the class sizes are small (around 10 per class) which allows the teachers to spend time and really get to know the children. The children are taught different subjects by specialist teachers, much like a secondary school from year 3. The head teacher is very down to earth and visible, nothing is ever too much trouble. All in all a fantastic school that has excellent results with happy well rounded confident children.β
βAppletree Corner is a fantastic nursery! All the staff are wonderful with the little ones. I was so nervous to leave my daughter for the first time when she was 1, but she settled in SO fast and that's purely down to how brilliant the members of staff are with children. I got regular updates on what my daughter was up too on the app they use, which includes some fantastic photos, and it also gave me ideas on what new meals I can make for her because they provide such wonderful meals for them at nursery. The office staff and nursery manager are all so welcoming and friendly, you can certainly tell that every member of staff there, not just the key persons in the rooms, love what they do and want the best for our children :) so lucky to have this nursery so close to home β€οΈβ
βMy son has been going to Chantreyland for 6 months now and he loves it! The staff are kind, caring and supportive. They keep the kids busy with loads of fun activities, everyone knows my son's name and he's happy to arrive there every morning. The building and outside space is lovely and they take the kids on trips to nearby Graves Park too.β

βA++++ nursery! My little one spent very precious time here, all will be missed. Staff is very friendly and supportive, you can find their continuous caring from the journey book they make for each kids and they are always there for any concerns or questions you have with your child. I would recommend it to anyone in the area.β
βMy little boy has been at TEY since September and he loves it so much! He is always going in happy and coming out beaming with a bag full of crafts and pictures he has done! My son has coeliac disease and we were nervous about him going into a childcare environment without us but TEY have been amazing, they provide him a gluten free meal similar to what the other children are having so he doesnβt feel left out and they are really conscious to keep him included with gf treats and snacks on party days! They even made some gf play dough so he could join in with everyone, they truly go out of their way! All the staff are so lovely and caring and always great him with a smile and a big warm welcome and because it is a smaller nursery they really get to know each child and ask for regularly term learning objectives from parents and ask to know about any special family/home events so they can talk to the children about it. I am so impressed with this nursery and would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.β
