Very quick delivery also set the bed up for me! I have one very happy 11 year old with her new bed in her new bedroom! Wouldn't go anywhere else! If I could give more than 5* I would! “Went to castleton for a holiday and was so bored of eating pub food so decided to try 1530. The building was constructed in 1530 hence the name. I went there with my partner to have some quality time. The service, food, wine pairing and atmosphere was just so good. They even have some vegetarian options and that was a win for me! 10/10 would visit again if I’m back in castleton!”

“Had a lovely visit here- the food was really lovely and the service was excellent. I Had the Steak and Cajun and despite a small issue with my meal, which was sorted as quickly as possible by the wonderful lady serving us- really really enjoyed the food :). The atmosphere is lovely- the pub was pretty full, but we didn't feel like we'd been squeezed in like you do in some pubs. All the staff on sight were polite and very welcoming, I would definitely recommend the Countryman to anybody.”

“As a registered disabled person who often needs access to a toilet quickly, I found myself in need of such facilities. I entered the pleasant pub and spoke with the bartender. She kindly showed me to the disabled toilet which was much appreciated. I did not have time to stay for food or a drink, so thanked her before leaving. Such a kind welcoming person is lovely to find these days especially and for this I would highly recommend The Stag Inn, Rotherham.”
