“We have been coming to Costa for many years. The best part isn’t really the coffee, it’s the staff. These are some of the nicest people you will ever meet; being super kind and friendly, and making some of the best drinks you will ever drink. They are the reason that Costa tastes better, because it’s the dedication and love into coffee making that’s the secret ingredient to a better drink. Sadly, the ‘chain’ itself, or its higher management so to speak, has made decisions in recency that leave you feeling a bit cheaped out on. Over the years we have noticed steady price increases (even befor the cost of living and inflation). While there is something to be said about struggling business these days, Costa is by no means small and they are owned by Coca-Cola. They are not struggling for money. Furthermore, shortly after a recent price hike for all of the food at Costa, Costa started taking out sausages from their Sausage baps to go from 4 to 3. They then made them smaller only a few months later. This is a blatant cash grab and a cheap out from Costas executives and it is especially upsetting given there was no price reduction to make up for it. We recently also found out that these same executives are now not allowing stores to sell their leftover pastries at 50% off in order to clear them out, but rather throw them away if they aren’t sold at full price. This is a total waste and is a shame since these pastries can be quite expensive and they still get money with a sale rather than the bin. No blame can be put on their staff, they are doing their best and put effort into making the experience as good as it can be, but the higher management at Costa are only looking for a higher profit line, and it shows.”

I achieved my gcse in english, which I never thought i would get, as well as DDM in Health and Social Care at level 3. I also was awarded student of the year, student of the month, and received a vocational specialist achievement award - all in the same year. I'm at uni now doing a masters in education, having secured an upper second class in my undergrad last year. I cannot thank these teaching staff enough for supporting me the way they did, both academically and personally.”

“My children have attended Sandy tots for the past 5 years and I cannot say a bad thing about them. The staff are always friendly, attentive and knowledgeable in what they do. The rooms are clean and tidy, they have lots of activitys to keep the youngsters happy. They even have pets for the little ones to care for and play with. Another bonus is you can drop your children of from as early as 6:30am! Great if your a shift worker. They also keep you up to date with your child's progress via the Tapestry website, very handy and great to see how your little ones are doing.
