“first time visited, arrrived 1:50pm on Wednesday, all desserts are £5 only. the service was good and the food that we ordered were tasty. buffalo chicken wings almost charged £1 per wing. the confit belly pork, steak pie and sea baa were delicious. both crumbles and sticky toffee pudding with custard were values for money (£5 per dessert on wednesday)”

“It was such a lovely experience, my wife and I were visiting for the weekend and I was feeling a little under the weather so honestly wasn't feeling up for going, but didn't want to let her down. The staff, the cleanliness, the atmosphere and the locals were so welcoming and friendly. We had food which was great and well priced and the whole pub was so great with our dog Bucky. It really lifted my spirits and whenever we come back down to Buxton we'll be popping in every time, really lovely pub. The staff are a huge credit, nothing was too much, always big smiles.
