This means we won't be visiting again as we can go to places like that much closer to home.     “i absolutely love this place it is my all time favourite. the food is delicious, the waiters and waitresses are lovely and polite and the building itself is gorgeous. i went there for my birthday and they were so sweet gave me desert on the house and sang happy birthday. it’s in a lovely little village and everywhere is so tranquil- especially later at night. i consistently go back to alberto’s because how lovely a place it is. this is my favourite restaurant i’ve ever been to and highly recommend as the food is delicious and affordable”

    “Really nice little casual fine dining restaurant. Cosy place, good attentive service and excellent food. The gravadlax starter was very refreshing and the chicken vol au vent tasty. The The roast dinners were good and my pork chop with tempura corn was outstanding very well cooked. Desserts were tasty as well, a good example of Tiramisu and great cherry bakewell. Enjoyed the experience, would like to try the tasting menu next time, not cheap but worth it for high quality food.”

    “Stopped in here after a trip to the local Blaze farm with our toddler. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the place was very modern and clean. The food menu was very good with lots of choice. I had a steak and red wine pie and it was delicious, my wife had a fish and chips without fault and our son had a burger and chips. They gave him the option for beans or peas and as he couldn’t decide gave him both at no extra charge which was a nice touch. Not expensive for the quality, service and setting. Highly recommend if you are in the area.”

    “Love Ajs. Whether it’s a cuppa and a piece of delicious cake with the girls (the rocky road and chocolate brownies are a particular favourite) or lunch with my daughter it’s so lovely to get a smile and a bit of chat from the team. The cheese scones are delicious, my daughter loves the cheesy oatcakes and you can’t go wrong with one of their specials.....especially a meat and potato pie. My hubby loves a good breakfast on the weekend too. It’s a family affair for us just like it is for the team there. They treat you like family.”
