“Superb selection of the best quality fish, shellfish and smoked fish all reasonably priced. The staff are all really friendly and knowledgeable if you need any advice on cooking etc and will fillet and prep the fish however you need it.”

“Wonderful, wonderful bar. The DJ is out of this world!! Me and a couple of pals had dinner and drinks here on a Saturday night. I didn’t realise the place turns into a full blown nighty C after dark. Food was amazing, service too. But, the DJ was something else! Got chatting with the DJ who names himself ‘Joey the Axe’ (I think). He was brilliant. Read the room with his music, and was very very friendly. Played all of our requests without issue and made the night very special. Even gave me a lift home and walked me to my door!! I’ll never forget you Joey the Axe.”

“Updated review. Glad to see that the same high quality has been transferred to the now relocated restaurant in Cheshire Street. The new larger premises (where the old Town House used to be) are just perfect, with increased capacity and really stunning decor.....even the toilet has received a fantastic makeover. The service is top class, really friendly and attentive and the food is deliciously authentic. Definitely need to book though since is very popular. Bella Italia Market Drayton. What a fantastic little authentic Italian restaurant and a great addition to Market Drayton's culinary offerings, complementing the already excellent nearby Foodshion (oriental) and Pickles (Indian). The fact that it is fairly small, 4 tables of 4 and a table for 6 gives it a really cosy and intimate vibe but with plenty of space between tables to afford privacy. The decor and lighting is quirky and has been really well thought out to provide a great experience for those seeking either a romantic atmosphere or somewhere different for a small celebration with family and friends. The background music was perfect. The menu is an Italian foodies' delight with a great range of beautifully prepared and presented pasta dishes along with a wide selection of meat dishes all at an excellent price. Thankfully not a pizza in sight! We were a party of 5 and shared the house antipasti (a large selection of cured meats, cheeses, olives and bruschetta) followed by various pasta dishes, Tiramisu or coffee all for less than £25 per head! They have a selection of soft drinks including zero alcohol beer, wine and fizz, or you can take your own alcohol. The service was top notch, attentive but not intrusive. This is definitely our new favourite local restaurant and will return very soon.”

And finally, an establishment which knows how to treat customers, they presented the bill WITHOUT adding a gratuity automatically! Well done, shows respect. “Farima was our waitress this evening, She was friendly and helpful with regards to our nut allergy needs. No task to hard checking ingredients for us. Aswell as taking us a photo together with our food. We've been a few times here and food is always exceptional and so are the staff. Warm and welcoming as always thankyou for a lovely night!”

“Really enjoyed having a little stop at this cafe for a drink. In the centre of town just off the main area it’s big enough for maybe 25 people with various tables inside and out. Toilets on site and it’s wheelchair accessible too. They allowed our dog in as he was well behaved. Lovely service and very friendly. We had a couple of cream teas with great clotted cream and home made scones - it was a great time thanks”

“Rookery Wood formerly Tom Cobleighs has been here since the late nineties. One of the few places locally that you can get an all you can eat breakfast. Around 11.30 it changes to a carvery. Parking is free and there's ample spaces to be had. They have a beer garden and a separate smoking area by the entrance. Tried there all you can eat breakfast which was around £8 for another £2 you can get unlimited tea and coffee. Service is excellent as was the breakfast. Many thanks to Joe who served me who was very welcoming and sociable. What I liked is you have a toaster that you can toast your own bread which is far better than having it from under the heat lamps. The spread included bacon, sausage, black pudding, hash brown, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, tomatoes, beans and mushrooms also believe it or not Yorkshire pudding is also on offer. Would highly recommend Rookery Wood and with so many people here today many agree its the place to come to any morning for that breakfast experience.”

“Lovely pub in a great location, with a carpark at the rear of the premises. You can enjoy the food and drink knowing it's all at a reasonable price, without sacrifice to quality. I can recommend this pub as one of the best in Congleton.”

“Ordered for the first time last night and have to say it was absolutely lovely! The portion sizes were really decent, especially for the chips and Donner meat. Normally, I end up with chips galore and just a few pieces of Donner, but this time it was an equal share of each. The added cheese was actually melted and plentiful, spread throughout the dish. It tasted lovely, slightly greasy, but no more than usual kebab food. The chicken was really nice too—perfectly hot, well-cooked, and flavourful. They could be a bit more generous with the sauce; I prefer a bit more than there was, but now I know to ask for extra next time. The food arrived quickly, and the driver was friendly too. I will definitely be ordering again and recommending them to friends and family!”
