“Myself, my wife and my in-laws came to a cottage near Blythe Bridge for our wedding anniversary. We had looked at a few places to go out for walks (ourselves and the dogs), and we decided on Downs Bank first. We're so pleased we did. There is ample parking for around 40 cars. We did a few easy walks as both of my in laws are getting on in years. But, there are a lot more challenging walks for those that like to get the heart rate up. Benches around the bank are a little hard to find but there are sufficient for just taking a brief moment near the stream. We were here in January and we couldn't have asked for better weather, and being early in the year, the cold and lack of children had made this a beautiful place to stroll around with very few people/kids or dogs to break the relative tranquility of a lovely place. Once you have done the walk a couple of times the chance of a different type of photograph have gone, but then you could start to get creative about differing points of view and shots to try. Overall I would highly recommend Downs Bank for all ages and abilities.”

“Visited yesterday with my two children, aged 15 & 9. Both had an absolutely brilliant time. Dawn, who helped my daughter half way through the course when she was really struggling and doubting her own abilities, was so lovely. It was challenging but brilliant fun. The kids especially loved the descent at the end! We would definitely visit again if in the area and highly recommend.”

“Service has been amazing. Nice and cool on a hot day, thanks for that. Food has been very good. Cocktails varied and novel. Can see why it is busy, and why everyone has a smile in their face. “Wow. Guys I kid you not, the curries from Punjabi Kitchen are on a different level. Its not often I leave reviews but credit where credit is due. The freshness, the flavour, the quality and the friendly service is the complete package. The chicken jalfrezi was the best I've had in over 20 years, the wraps so fresh, loads of fillings, this place is a gem. Wife had a mild rogan josh and says it was absolutely beautiful. If you fancy a decent takeaway anytime I'd recommend these guys all day, every day.”

“This place was amazing! My sister and I loved being able to see the monkeys up so and learn so many different facts about them for example, their origin and their diet. We were lucky enough to be there at the time of their feeding which we got to see a staff member feed the monkeys and teach us how they behave and the hierarchy of the monkey kingdom. At the time of visiting, they had over 100 monkeys to see and around 11 of which being babys as young as 4 weeks old. As you leave the monkey forest, there's a cafe and a really big park with unique attractions such as big tree swings and mystery trails to walk and venture on. This site is truly amazing and I couldn't recommend it for families any more!”
