“Great cinema, very helpful and friendly staff. Nice and clean. Very comfy reclining seats. Highly recommend”
“Not been here in years & went for an anniversary meal after a disappointing holiday away. Main menu a little expensive but 2 for £20 offer makes it affordable. Food was outstanding. Hot, fresh & plenty of it - they do not cut portion size for offers like some other places! Service excellent, attentive but not overbearing & no pressure to leave once meal complete. Would highly recommend & my only complaint is about the booking system, which requires card details to book-no problem with this alone but details are held by third party for 24 months which is totally unnecessary & puts our data at risk so would not book in advance & would need to take our chances on the day, as we did today. Will definitely return though, the food is fantastic.”
“We order from slices quite often, and food is always good. Tonight, we ordered our food, and waited for our taxi home. Our taxi was late, which meant we was late getting back home in time for the delivery. The lad rang me, and waited 6 minutes for us to turn up. He was super polite and very understanding. Food was also still hot, which was very good. Recommended!”
“I have been having my brows done by Han ever since I can remember. She honestly the best. I feel so at home when I go to her clinic. Xx”
“I stayed in the Eagle's Nest apartment while workng for a week in Stafford, only 15-20 minutes away. Helen and Andy have curated a wonderful old building into a delightful combination of B&B plus the flat. I had a warm welcome (the B&B bit - so much better than a code and a lockbox) with the offer of a complementary home made flapjack on my arrival. I was shown up to the flat and around it, so that all thereafter was simple. Helen is enthusiastic about the house and its history and was a great host - the welcoming bowl of fruit and biscuits is always a nice touch. Plenty to do in and around Eccleshall and Helen showed me to a 5K into the countryside from the house that I did a couple of times. Pubs and food in Eccleshall. Give it a go.”
“This is a little gem of a place it is small but has some lovely animals and birds and has a flying display it is very reasonable in price and great for kids”
“Beautiful place parking . coffee shop”
“Had a fantastic day here. Two cafes with great food, ice creams and drinks. Toilets were clean. The house was quiet and easy to walk through everyone was helpful and informative. The grounds were stunning and lots to see. Great accessibility. Lots for kids to do, the house had kid friendly activities but also lots of parks and outside spaces for children. Promoting inclusivity and that seems to been something they are working hard to promote which is fantastic to see. Great walks for people and dog friendly also, even some doggy ice creams.”
“Great food, good menu, easy parking, nice friendly staff, decent beers. What's not to like”
“Wow wow wow . Third visit to this place . Great staff food is amazing and the place looks amazing . Feels like we are eating in a 5 ⭐ restaurant. Keep up the great work .”
“Absolutely amazing local pub. The canal side location makes it a beautiful place to sit and watch the narrow boats and ducks etc. All of the staff were extremely friendly and always happy to help with all of our dietary requests. The food was incredible! Extremely reasonably priced and the quality was incredible too. We’ve booked in for a large party in the near future and have every confidence that it’ll be another great visit. Thank you to landlady Ali and team for such a pleasant experience xxx”
“45 acres of beautifully laid out park. Lovely nature walks, Historical buildings, children's park etc.”
“Excellent pub with 12 real ale pumps. Mainly a vast range of Titanic ales and Everards. Opens spot on 12:00 Sunday. Many came for Sunday lunch. Near main railway station. 7 mins walk.”
“Walked it after a long day at work, they did an excellent pint of Bass, of which I had 2 pints. Some local people we got talking too were very friendly, will definitely be going in again.”
“I have know Abdul for as long as he has been supplying quality food in Stafford. He has always been most helpful and obliging. The quality of the food supplied by Thawa Bridge is excellent and I feel is the best take away Indian cuisine in the area. Don't take it from m, try it for yourself, you won't be disappointed”
“Admittedly did turn my nose up as it's not the most inviting of buildings. Tried it & it's absolutely the best curry I've had in a while. I've been to a lot of curry houses too.”
“The village community hall has lots of activities for local people”
“Enter stay. First time visiting for an afternoon tea. Was very impressed with the interior and the Christmas decorations. We were warmly welcomed and shown to a table in the window. The afternoon tea didn’t disappoint. There was a good variety of sandwiches and the fillings were very generous. The scones were delicious, the only niggle was that there was only a small pot of jam between people. The cakes were lovely and the chocolate pot so rich. Will certainly come again.”
“Amazing service. With very picky eaters they were more than happy to change the dishes to cater to our needs. The food itself was absolutely delicious. Thank you.”
“Met friends here for birthday meal. Food was lovely and service very good. We were able to go and help ourselves to extra servings if we wanted. Place was nice and clean and were quickly shown to our table.”
“Had take away from here many times and never disappointed, always hot and tasty. Decided to eat in and the food was absolutely lovely, staff were very friendly and it was hot. Was a little while of a wait for food but not enough to complain about inside, just worth noting. A lovely meal once again and will always be one of my favourite Italian restaurants.”
“Lovely friendly staff. Not rated the food as we didn't eat in there”
“Always a decent place to visit. Whether you’re eating, drinking l, catching up or just want to explore the old building. Cheap drinks and there is a big selection, hot and cold. Food served here too, good enough for the price. Busier at weekends. Always a good place to start a night out. Surprisingly the toilets are on ground level and not half a mile away.”
“I had the cheese steak burger it’s was juicy and flavourful and the chips was equally as nice washed down with a pint of cold river! I was served by Jake the manager on shift couldn’t of been more helpful and kind”
“We had a birthday party here yesterday for a 2 year old. It was fantastic. Play barn was warm, clean and plenty of frames for kiddies. Tractor ride and feeding animals included. The staff was great, so helpful. Especially wife and husband who took charge. Very helpful. Good price for what was included. We had it all to ourselves too”
“An excellent customer service. Always be a customer.”
