“Friendly kiosk serving hot drinks, cakes and ice-cream. There's outdoor seating on three sides, with partial roof cover. There's also limited seating inside for roughly 12 people. It's well kept and nice and clean. A tea and cake costs about £5 per person.”
“Had a nice white chocolate mocha in a nice, chilled out location.”
“Rest Bay Cafe is a lovely spot to recharge. The view is amazing. Staff, despite being g very busy, we're pleasent and friendly. The beach is one of the nicest we have visited in south wales.”
“I've always found art galleries to be quite intimidating places, with aloof staff, and populated by pseudo-art experts. Not a bit of it with the Slate gallery. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and completely informal, and with a stunning array of pictures available for sale. I was fortunate enough to be shown around by the proprietor, Ceri Williams, who was patient, helpful and very accommodating. The artwork on sale showcases Ceri's amazing versatility - pastel-coloured beach scenes, worked in acrylics, local views over Swansea bay, with storm scenes that capture the anger and energy of the weather with her brilliant cloud-work, and ink drawings of dogs, which convey the motion and energy of their movement. After all this, and after buying 3 pictures, there is an opportunity to relax in there informal cafe and bar on the ground floor, populated by friendly local people. This is a unique gallery experience, and I'd recommend it to anybody, even if you only want to browse Ceri's remarkable works, and enjoy a coffee afterwards! Definite 5-star rating!”

“Absolutely fantastic! Made a couple of orders for delivery but first time going in today. The drinks were spectacular and the choice is mind blowing. Our server Carmelo was extremely polite and made us feel so welcome thank you The food was even nicer presentation was immaculate and everything was brilliantly cooked. Hats off to the chefs here. We will be returning again and again!”
“Really friendly place to be, great food with that 'home-cooking' feel to it.”
“Lovely coffee and home made cornbeef pie and cheese pie. Very welcoming café with such friendly staff. I have been going to Durstons coffee shop at least twice a week for a month or so now, and every time, I am greeted with a warm smile and converse. The owner Becky, is such a wonderful person. She's thoughtful, considerate and genuinely cares about her customers. Becky takes pride in her business and cooks all the food from scratch. This place deserves more praise. There's take away food/drinks, it is a child friendly atmosphere and even has baby changing facilities. They take cash and card with ample parking to the front. Would definitely recommend.”
“Unbelievable food. You can really tell that the staff care about the quality of the food they serve. If you live in the area or are visiting, this is a must-try. Good energy in the kitchen and you can tell by the flavours! I’ve worked in food & wine industry for a good while and I was blown away by the food presentation, quality of ingredients, and the service. It was hard to choose what to order; luckily my table was keen to share lots of small plates. I would highly recommend sharing a few things. I will absolutely return to try more of the breakfast & daytime menu. Great wine options also. I was told that they update the menu regularly with seasonal ingredients so I’m very excited to keep visiting!”
“I stumbled across this beautiful place by luck and I am SO pleased I did. You would never expect it to be situated where it is. Absolutely lovely inside- you will never get bored of things to look at! The food and service were both amazing. I cannot fault anything. Warm and friendly staff. Along with being very reasonably priced! You will not be disappointed if you visit and I would highly recommend you try this place out. Me, my partner and 3 children left with full bellys and smiling faces..... Thankyou for such a pleasant experience.”
“Dilly's provided an amazing finger food buffet for my mother-in-law's funeral. Arrived on time and excellent selection of options - lots of food too. We had many comments. Highly recommend.”

“When I was growing up my mum used to take us here on our birthdays for a treat. I always had a Knickerbocker glory for pudding. This place fell off my radar for about 30ish years then though. So I was in Swansea and remembered this place and thought I'd try it out again. Well it didn't disappoint at all. The food, service and atmosphere are amazing. It took me back to being a kid again. It is now my favourite place to eat in Swansea.”
“The best coffee you can get a very chic cafe with excellent coffee and bites to eat. A very welcoming and refreshing change to the usual chains. Excellent service and value for money a must visit if in the area.”
“I visited Waffel Town & Café today with waffles on my mind – and I was not disappointed! I could choose exactly what I wanted on my waffle, and it turned out absolutely delicious. The fruits were fresh, and everything was perfectly prepared. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The café is centrally located, very clean, and offers both indoor seating and a few covered tables outside under an awning. The menu is quite extensive – a great spot not just for dessert, but also for breakfast, lunch, or just a coffee break. Highly recommended!”
“Classy cafe-bar with quality drinks & a good tapas menu in the evenings. Was here on a Friday evening - Google said busier than usual, which was a surprise given the quality of the experience. Started with cocktails from their menu - both the Expresso Martini and the Princess & the Pea special were lovely! Had some of the tapas menu - all excellent, although the Mac & Cheese was fairly spicy. Nice atmosphere, but not a special as the drinks & food. Well worth a visit!”
“We ordered a lasagne dinner and it was absolutely brilliant. Heated it up in the oven and it tasted amazing. There was plenty for everyone. Service and communication was excellent.”
“Love this place. Can’t recommend it enough. The food is always stunning the staff are really friendly and it’s a lovely atmosphere there. Come regularly with my dad and we love it.”
“Absolutely stunning for a real treat and you must try the chocolate filled cones if you visit there! Unbelievable hot melting in mouth magic! Our favourites are the caramac and the salted caramel ice creams and we really love the waffles too. They also do ice cream birthday cakes which ate unbelievable. Our favourite was the christmas lemon meringue ice cream log. Nice little cafe to stop in and restaurant to the side of it.”
“We were wanting to get some pre-loved furniture, when accidentally stumbling upon this store. On arrival we realised how much more this store is than just breathtaking furniture. It is a must see place to go if you like vintage, as this store has it all and the owner and staff were so lovely and helpful. Will be returning again soon, but made sure to snap up some items before we left. Recommend a thousand times over.”
“Some really good fresh food, tasted amazing with vegan opens for the wife. Really happy with the service and really happy with the food. Would recommend to anyone looking for good quality fresh Greek food.”
“Coming as tourists, we were excited to try some good ol' Welsh fare. Stumbled upon Gershwins via Google and wolfed down a delightful "rarebit" ciabbata and excellent traditional Welsh breakfast. Great service and value too! Highly recommended for a nice brunch/lunch around swansea city centre.”
