   We decided to give hickory’s another go after poor experience previously. We booked for our anniversary meal and got seated in Kia’s section, from the get go she was the friendliest and most welcoming waitress we have had and started up a conversation about our anniversary, not long after she took our food and drinks order, finding us a bigger table when we decided to splash out on a number of dishes. Kia’s service and effort throughout the evening is unmatched and is the best waitress I’ve ever had (I don’t say this lightly as I work in hospitality myself). She was always smiling, having a laugh and joke and worked incredibly hard dealing with a big section on a busy Friday night. Our food was great and at the end Kia put together an anniversary celebration plate, adding a bit of humour and making our anniversary something to remember. Even though she said it’s been tough, she made sure she did her job well, I hope everything gets better and she is recognised for her incredible service . Thank you Kia ❤️

   I went to Hickories for my mate’s 35th birthday, and Leah H, our waitress, was absolutely fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and she served us with a smile the whole time. One of my friends had a brandy and coke that was a bit too strong, and Lea happily added more coke without hesitation. My sister accidentally ordered the wrong meal, but Lea quickly sorted it out with no fuss at all. She kept our table clean and tidy, clearing glasses regularly, and even split the bill between the four of us with no issues. Lea really made our experience at Hickories amazing. We’ll definitely be back!

   We had a brilliant meal, as we always do. Tonight was our wedding anniversary and they really went all out to make us feel special. The platter we had was massive (ask for a box to take leftovers back!) and the special anniversary dessert that they made for us was a lovely touch. I honestly can’t say enough nice words.

   An enjoyable experience, I’ve been waiting for ten years to visit a smoke house. The venue has plenty of parking and I was welcomed immediately. The bar and welcoming staff are on point, things fell apart for table service. Expect a busy environment and lots of hype with staff stressed and concerned with how long they wait tables. The food was ok but nothing you couldn’t reproduce at home. Majorly disappointed in reflection to how excited i was to visit Hickory’s.

   The service and drinks was amazing. However the food was not. Quite pricey for food that lacled flavour. Ive had the same type of pork ribs at a ember inns pub and it was far tastier and cheaper. Although it was a smokehouse there was no smokey flavour. Really disappointed to be honest

   This was the third time I'd been here in the last couple of months and I cannot get enough of this restaurant, from the exceptional customer service to the amazing food and the cute little cinema to keep the kids occupied whilst mummy's have a cocktail or two!! I love this place and the portion sizes for the food ate amazing too!! Great value for money!! Booking my 4th visit soon!! We can't wait!!
