I ate here last night as part of a big group. The three course Christmas dinner was brilliant- the food was really lovely and we all, despite being a large group, got served together. Great value for money. I’ll definitely be back! Thanks to Tash and Mark for their excellent service throughout the evening.
Visited on 25th April 2025. My friend is registered disabled, uses 2 walking sticks and cannot stand for long. After waiting 8 minutes to be seated we decided to go and sit. Someone comes out, tells us to go back and wait and they will seat us. Bear in mind, the restaurant is nearly empty. Proceed to order, no hummus, chose something else, repeat they haven't got that. Ordered starter and main. Main comes before the starter so we start eating. We said whoops wheres our starters, then they proceed to bring out the mains straight away while we are eating our starters. Ordered nachos which comes with just Guacamole. No sour cream, no cheese, no relish, no spring onions. I was so amazed i took a photo of the monstrosity. When asked where the other ingredients were - they ran out. If that's the case, don't serve it. My friends fries were cold. I walked past the kitchen which had food on the floor - enough that it was noticeable. Time to pay. Told them I wasn't paying for the nachos. Supervisor that day stated we had to pay something and couldn't have our meal for free. That was not what we said and told her so. Paid a reduced rate. Overall would NOT recommend this harvester. Server did not have a clue, supervisor rude, kitchen dirty and food awful.
I absolutely loved eating here during my visit to Birmingham. The food was really good, only downside was that service took a while. The food was tasty, and portions were more than enough. We were in twice for dinner and breakfast and wasn’t disappointed at any point. Ambience was good but it was quite busy at dinner time on Friday, which is expected. Pre-booking is advised at peak times. I particularly loved the pork belly, it was perfect. Also appreciated the salad bar, it’s a nice touch.
Great service. Food served fast. Chicken in the mix grill was amazing - not dry. Superb !
Looking at the menu, you're spoilt for Choice. We had the 2 courses for about £15.00. Great value . The food was LUSH ! . I loved their decor. My waiter , Reagon gave us 5* service . Really enjoyed my time here . Fabulous salad bar is back open . Definitely be coming back here
Went on the first evening after refurbishment. It is a nice bright clean environment. Nice efficient service. Steak and chicken cooked excellently. And first time in a Harvester after pandemic that you can help yourself to the salad cart! A very pleasant meal!
Been here a good few times before but this was the first time in about 2 years (maybe longer). The service was nice. Friendly staff; but I was slightly put out by the fact you need to have someone else dish out your salad now. I'm assuming this is to prevent tight queues at the salad bar due to covid, but hey that's just me. I noticed the choice of items in the salad bar appeared to be reduced from what I can remember when I last visited, though I could be wrong as it was laid out differently The food was OK. I chose the pork belly it was good but not special. I wasn't overly impressed and wouldn't have it again. That being said, I would definitely return, not in a hurry, but yes I would go back
